Description

Watch movement with central seconds: The main patent relates to a watch movement with central seconds, in which the barrel drives the escapement pinion through four finishing mo biles each comprising a pinion and a wheel. In addition, the second Mo bile, which is the minute mobile, is placed in the middle of the movement frame and comprises a tubular axis providing passage to the seconds axis, the pinion and wheel of which are arranged between the movement bridge. finishing of the frame and an auxiliary bridge, the minute wheel driving the pinion of the middle wheel while grinding in the seconds pinion, the axes of the middle wheel and of the escape wheel being pivoted, on the one hand, in the plate and, on the other hand,

in the auxiliary bridge, the pinion of the middle wheel passing through an opening made in the finishing bridge.

The object of the present invention is to start from a state of height independent of each of the mobiles arranged coaxially in the middle of the frame. For this purpose, there is provided a rap plate carried to the bridge @de, finishing and intended to determine said framing in height of the seconds mobile, this plate being disposed between a bearing surface of the seconds pinion and said bridge. The appended drawing shows, by way of example and in section along the axis of the seconds, the part of the movement relating to the invention.

In the drawing, we can see the main finishing bridge 8, the auxiliary bridge 9 which could also be made up of a finishing bridge, the minute wheel 15 and its pinion 14 provided with a tubular axle 17, the 2.1 second wheel with its pinion 22 and its axis 20, and finally the middle wheel 25. This wheel 25 drives the second pinion 22, the axis 20 of which passes freely through the tubular axis 17 for the minutes. The axis 20 is pivoted in the auxiliary bridge 9 and is fitted, on the other hand, in a bearing (not shown) mounted in the tubular axis 17 which is pivoted, on the one hand, in the finishing bridge 8 and, on the other hand, in the plate (not shown) of the frame.

The minute mobile and the second mobile are arranged coaxially in the middle of the frame and each of these two mobiles has its own elevation. For this purpose, a clearance 17 'is allocated to the axis 17, provided between a bearing surface of the pinion 14 and the finishing bridge 8. A clearance 17 ", at least equal to the frame 17', is provided between the 'end of the pi vot of the pinion 14 and a plate 27 partially housed in a corresponding core 28 of the finishing bridge 8 and fixed thereto by means of at least one screw 29. This plate, preferably in steel, is pierced with a hole 30 providing passage to the axis 20 of the second; in addition, it serves as a support for a bearing 22 'of the pinion 22 of the seconds.

The height of the second mobile is provided at 31, between a bearing surface of the pinion 22 and the auxiliary bridge 9, the wheel 21 being driven out on the. pinion rod 22 '.

Thus, it is imparted to each of the two mobiles arranged coaxially in the center of the frame, their own height range which is determined, as regards the second mobile, by the plate 27, which is an advantage for the winder.

The plate 27 is removable, but it could be permanently fixed, for example forced into the core 28 of the finishing bridge 8.
