Timepiece with automatic winding device by oscillating weight. The object of the present invention is a timepiece with an automatic winding device using an oscillating weight. This part is characterized by a connecting rod connecting this mass to one of the arms of a two-arm lever, the other of which is articulated to a second lever which carries a pawl, the latter acting on a ratchet integral with a pinion which is engaged with a toothed wheel producing the winding of the mainspring.
The accompanying drawing represents, by way of example, an embodiment of the object of the present invention.
Fig. 1 is a plan view thereof and FIG. 2 is a section through II-II of FIG. 1. In these figures, 1 is the frame of the movement to which is fixed, removably and by means not shown, a support plate 2. 3 is the winding oscillating mass secured to a shaft 4 by the means of which it is mounted and rotates in the plate 2, this by means of a ball bearing 5.
At the lower end of the shaft 4 there is a crank button 6 on which is articulated one end of a connecting rod 7, the other end of which is articulated to one of the two arms of the lever 8; it turns on a pivot 9 made on the. inner face of the. plate 2; its other arm is articulated at one end of the lever to an arm 10. The articulation between the levers 8 and 10 allows radial play to avoid the jamming of these two levers.
The lever 10 can oscillate around a pivot 11 that has the underside of the plate 2, and carries a pawl 12; the latter cooperates with a ratchet 13 rotating over a narrower range of the pivot 11; this ratchet is fixed to a plate 14 to which the pinion 15 is riveted, which meshes with the crown wheel 16 mounted on the frame 1 of the movement and in engagement with the teeth 17 of the barrel ratchet; when the timepiece is provided with a hand-winding, this crown wheel 16 can also be actuated by the winding stem.
The connecting rod, the levers and the pivots formed for the latter and for the ratchet 13, on the underside of the support plate 2, can be obtained by stamping, that is to say with great precision. The fact that the moving parts of the automatic winding device up to including the ratchet 13 and the pinion 15 are adapted to the support plate facilitates the assembly and disassembly of this device.
One could moreover also, provide several bridges in place of the support plate 2, for example a first bridge for the oscillating mass, a second bridge for the lever 8 and a third for the lever 10 and the ratchet 13. with its pinion 15.
