-disposé ici entre lé tambouT et la platine., Le tambour de barillet engrène, d'une part, @directem:ent avec un pignon de minutes 7 portant -la chaussée 8 et, d'autre part, avec un pignon @de renvoi 9 de même module que le pignon 7;
Three-hand ultra-thin watch . The object of the present invention is to produce ultra-thin watches with three coaxial hands,: the barrel spring of which is relatively high compared to the thickness of the watch., While: preserving all mobiles, as well as 'at the exhaust, a normal size.
The known devices have the drawback of not being able to satisfy the conditions indicated above either to give the height to the barrel and to keep all the moving bodies a normal size, they require a greater height: movement, which does not make it possible to make extra-thin watches, either to keep the movement low and to keep the movement uniformly wide, these:
devices reduce the height of the barrel and, consequently, the height of the driving spring, which significantly reduces the driving force and consequently the regulating power of the oscillator. Known devices generally give movements - higher or at least sometimes of the same height as watches without seconds in the center.
The watch forming the object of the invention meets the objective without having the drawbacks pointed out.
The object of the present invention is a watch with three coaxial hands, characterized in that the barrel conducts the escapement mobile by means of five mobile, none of which:
of the wheels does not pass either above or below the barrel, and thus constituting an extra-thin watch in which the mobile -finishing and escapement, as well as the balance and, the barrel, have diameters - very normal and in which the spring mo-,
teur is relatively high compared to the thickness of the watch. Preferably, the three hands will be pivoted in the center.
The accompanying drawing represents, by way of example, one embodiment of the object of the invention.
Fig. 1 is a plan view of the movement, from the side of the bridges.
Fig. 2 is a cut along the broken line A-B-C-D-E F of FIG. 1.
Fig. 3 is a section taken along the line% 1-G-D of FIG. 1.
The movement shown is a movement in which the three coaxial hands are arranged in the center. 1 designates -the plate, 2 a bridge common to the barrel -and to the center mobile, 3 a finishing bridge and 4 an auxiliary bridge intended for the pivoting of an intermediate return wheel 10 between the barrel and the large average. 5. Denotes the barrel drum and 6 the ratchet & barrel,
-disposed here between the tambouT and the plate., The barrel drum engages, on the one hand, @directem: ent with a 7-minute pinion bearing -the 8 carriageway and, on the other hand, with a @default pinion 9 of the same modulus as the pinion 7;
: this idler pinion 9 \ meshes with a pivoted idler wheel 10, on the one hand, in the plate 1 and, on the other hand, in the small deference bridge @ .4 extending below the wheel of large medium 12. The idle wheel 10 in turn meshes with the pinion 11 of large medium. We have @don; c the three gears 7, 9 and 11 which make one revolution per hour.
Thanks to the references 9 and 10, the axis G, of large average is sufficiently bloignée_du_ barrel so that the large -moyenne wheel 12 does not encroach on the latter or above; n'i below.
The medium-sized wheel 12 meshes with the small-medium pinion 13, the wheel 14 of which meshes, on the one hand, with a 15-second pinion at the center and, on the other hand, with the usual field pinion 16 of which the wheel 17 -conducts the pinion 18 of the exhaust mobile.
The axis E @ of the field mobile can possibly carry a plain -small second hand All these cage-finished mobile units are pivoted, on the one hand, in the plate 1, on the other hand, in a finishing bridge 3.
The 7 minute pinion in the center is hollow and in. its bore, passes the axis 19 carrying the needle of the sacondës 20.
The pinion. 7, is pi voted, on the one hand, in plate 1 and, on the other hand; Uans the bottom 2E of a hollow made in the bridge 2. As for the gable 15 of a second at -centre; it is pivoted by its 15 'hub in pinion 7 ,:
on which it rests by a 15 '' span. The axial part of the pinion 15 @, integral with the axis 19 @st limited by a stop spring 21 fixed at the.
wall of the hollow of the bridge 2 and arranged so that the upper face of the pinion 15 is at a level not exceeding that of the bottom of the barrel. The toothing of the barrel is .disposed relatively low towards the plate so as to leave around the axes of the needles above the wings of the pinion 7 the most
possible space available for fitting out part 2 'of the bridge 2 _ which is to serve as a bearing for the pinion 7 and in the hollow of which the pinion 15 and the stop 21 are housed. A.ins # î, no component @ the moving circles of the center do not exceed the eurface of the barrel bridge 2.
The hollow part 2 'of this bridge has a lateral clearance to allow the small to medium wheel 14 to mesh with the second pinion at the center 15.
In the construction described and shown, no wheel passing above or below the barrel assembly: ratchet, and the bolt meshing directly with the 7 minute pinion whose wings are of relatively small diameter, it is possible, for a given alibne, to give the mainspring the maximum height and diameter and, consequently,
run a watch with second in the center having, for a given power of the mainspring, the minimum height. All lesi mobile, are in fact included in the template limited in height by the outer surfaces of the ratchet c and the barrel.
The construction described and shown is a central seconds watch; it goes without saying, however, that the three coaxial needles could be located outside the center of the room. On the other hand, the relative position of the barrel and its ratchet could be reversed.
