Mouvement d'horlogerie.
Clockwork movement. The object of the invention is a clockwork movement, especially for watches, clocks and other small format timepieces. It comprises a barrel, the toothed drum of which drives the pinion of the escape wheel, by means of at least one mobile comprising a pinion and a wheel.
The object of the invention is characterized in that the barrel is arranged in the middle of the movement and that its axis carries the roadway, a boude wheel meshing with a reference of the winding mechanism.
The accompanying drawing shows, by way of example, a pocket watch movement.
Fig. 1 represents it from the front, side of the bridges; Fig. 2 is a cut. following line A - B of, fig. 1.
Between the plate 1 and a bridge 2 is placed, in the middle of the movement, the barrel 3 whose toothed drum drives the pinion 4 of the escape wheel 5, by means of a single mobile comprising a pinion 6 and a wheel 7. The intermediate wheels between the barrel and the exhaust pinion could be two in number.
The axis 8 of the barrel 3 is fixed to the drum and pivots, on the one hand, in the plate 1 and, on the other hand, in the bridge 2; it passes freely through a socket 9 fixed to the bridge 2 and carries the carriageway 10. On the socket 9 is fitted the bung wheel 11 which emerges from a round hole 12 provided in the barrel cover and engages in the return 13 of the winding mechanism controlled by the rod 14. The return 13, provided with a snap 15, is mounted on the bridge 2.
16 designates the anchor bridge and 17 the lancing bay.
It follows from this construction that it is the axis of the barrel which controls the roadway, so that the barrel drum must turn at the rate of one revolution in sixty minutes. This result can be achieved, for example by means of a gear train comprising the following numbers of teeth: Barrel drum: 360 teeth; pinion 6: 6 wings; wheel 7: 60 teeth; exhaust pinion: 6 wings. The number of revolutions of the mo biles engaged being in inverse ratio to the corresponding numbers of teeth, the wheel 7 will turn at a rate of one revolution in sixty seconds and its axis will be able to carry the second hand.
The object of the invention shown is distinguished by its relatively simple construction, inexpensive and facilitating the reassembly and dismantling of the movement. The shape, dimensions, type of escapement, winding mechanism and the number of teeth of the moving parts may differ from those shown.
