Watch movement from shape to second. The object of the invention is a watch movement: in the form of a second, with lever escapement, in which the barrel drives the pin gnon of the anchor wheel by means of three moving parts - each comprising a pinion and a wheel, the center of rotation of the second hand being situated on the major axis of symmetry .du movement, perpendicular to the axis of the winding stem.
This movement is characterized by the fact that the arrangement of the above-mentioned mobiles, of the escapement and balance members is such that the balance passes over a bridge of the field wheel. whose axis carries the seconds hand, while the id'anore wheel passes below the said bridge.
Thanks to this arrangement, and although the center of rotation of the seconds hand can be relatively far from the middle of the movement, a maximum of space can be reserved for the barrel, the moving parts of the finishing and the organs of the movement. exhaust and regulator.
The accompanying drawing shows, by way of example, one embodiment of the object of the invention. Fig. 1 the watch in elevation, facing the bridges; Fig. 2 is a section, on a larger scale, along the line A-B-C-D-E-If-G & fig. 1.
The barrel 1 drives the pinion 2 of the escape wheel 3, by means of three moving wheels comprising the pins and wheels 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9. XX denotes the major axis of symmetry of the barrel-shaped movement which is perpendicular to the YY axis of the winding stem.
The movement comprises two sight ratchets 10, 11, an anchor escapement (not shown in the drawing) preferably having a side anchor. 12 designates the balance.
Mobile 8, 9 is the field wheel which turns one revolution in 60 cycles; its axis 13 carries the seconds hand 14: and is located on the major axis of symmetry @du movement.
For this -effect, the wheel, field 8, 9 is pivoted, on the one hand, in the plate 15 and, on the other hand, in a bridge 16: arranged between the wheel of: anchor $ and the balance 12 , that is to say that the latter passes .above, the bridge 1F ,, while the. Anchor wheel goes below.
The movement could have another form than that represented in the drawing; it could, for example, be oval to rectangular.
