Description

Watch with automatic winding by means of an oscillating weight Watches with automatic winding by means of an oscillating weight are already known in which the latter rotates around a fixed pivot part by means of a ball bearing, the diameters of this bearing and of this piece being chosen as low as possible.

There are also known watches with automatic winding by an oscillating mass in which this mass acts on the cogwind of the motor barrel winding by means of an eccentric and in which two ball bearings are provided, one between the part. pivoting, the mass and the eccentric, and the other, between the latter and its crown, but the part around which the mass rotates being of the aforementioned dimension, the two bearings are superimposed so that this part is loaded at two points different ; thanks to this superposition, the height of the mechanism is increased in an exaggerated way.

The object of the present invention is to remedy this drawback. For this purpose, the pivot part is a large plate, which slightly increases the size of the surface of the assembly, but which makes it possible to have, around it, the body of the eccentric, its crown and two ball bearings, these being juxtaposed and lying in the plane of the plate, while the winding mass is placed above this plane and is fixed to the body of the eccentric.

The accompanying drawing shows, by way of example and partially, an embodiment of the present invention. Fig. 1 is a plan view thereof and FIG. 2 a section through II-II of FIG. 1, the height scale having been increased for better visibility. The frame of said embodiment comprises a plate 1 and bridges, one of which is shown at 2; 3 is the winding mass; the motor device comprises two barrels 4 controlling the gear train together and provided with winding ratchets 5; all this well-known part will not be described in more detail.

In the center of the bridge 2 is fixed by screws the plate 6. 7 is an eccentric fixed to the mass, mounted by an internal ball bearing 8 on the plate 6 and having an external ball bearing 9 on which the frame is mounted ( or crown) 10 of the eccentric. This frame, the eccentric, the plate and the two ball bearings are arranged in the same plane located under the mass 3 and above the bridge 2, which reduces the overall height of the entire room.

The frame 10 carries on its underside the two winding pawls 11 which work with the ratchet 12; this is located in the plane of the pawls 11 where the retaining pawl 13 is also located; it controls the ratchets 5 by means of the pinion 12a and the references 14.

The frame of the eccentric 10 has a radial slot 15, in which is engaged a guide piece consisting of a stone 16 rotatably mounted on the axis of the ratchet 12.
