Self-winding timepiece The present invention relates to a timepiece with automatic winding by rotating mass.
This part is characterized by the fact that this mass rotates at the periphery of the movement cage and that its bearing is arranged inside this cage, next to the central axis of the movement, said mass having an internally toothed crown. for controlling the automatic winding train.
The accompanying drawing shows, by way of example, one embodiment of the object of the present invention.
Fig. 1 in. is a plan view.
Figs. 2 and 3 are sections along II-11 and III-111 of FIG. 1.
The timepiece shown comprises a barrel 1 controlling a center pinion 2, of which the wheel 3 controls a pinion of average 4. The wheel of average 5 drives a second pinion to the center 6 itself leading a wheel of additional average 7 rotating around the same axis as that of the average wheel 5 and controlling the small seconds pinion 8. The small seconds wheel 9 finally controls the pinion 10 of the exhaust mobile. 11 represents the movement plate, 12 the finishing bridge, 13 the barrel bridge and 14 two intermediate bridges. The barrel ratchet 15 is arranged under the latter so as to save space in height.
The plate 16 of the oscillating weight 17 carries an axis 18 rotating in a bearing 19 arranged inside the movement cage, immediately next to the second gear in the center 6. The position of the height bearing is such that the plate 16 of the mass is separated from the upper face of the cage only by a hole 27 essential for its pivoting. This arrangement allows a significant reduction in the height of the movement. It is made possible, in particular by the absence of the seconds wheel in the center replaced by the additional average wheel 7 and by the arrangement of the ratchet 15 placed under the barrel.
The bearing 19 is carried by an additional bridge 20 fixed to the barrel bridge 13 by screws 21 and toothed by pins 22. The axis 18 rotates on the surfaces 23 that it presents and between which is formed a groove 24 in which engages a lock 25 intended to axially maintain said mass.
This lock is mounted on the underside of the bridge 20 and can be reached by an opening 26 made through the latter. In a variant not shown, the bearing 19 could be integral with the mass and the pin 18 could be fixed in said cage.
The mass 17 turns in a circular corridor 27 formed in the entrenchments of. bridges and slightly off-center with respect to the circumference of the movement cage. So that this corridor is eccentric to the minimura, the bearing 19 is arranged, without interposition of other elements, immediately next to the center pinion 6. This arrangement is made possible by controlling the automatic winding train not from the center of the movement. , but from its periphery.
For this purpose, the mass carries an internally toothed crown 28 meshing with the first mobile of the automatic winding train which encroaches on said corridor. The entire train is placed inside the movement cage.
