Description

montre.

watch. The object of the invention is a watch, which is characterized in that the hour and minute hands are arranged on the side of the bridges of the watch movement and that their common center of rotation is located outside the center of the movement, the dial being relatively small and cut out in the middle, so that most of the movement, side of the bridges, is visible from the front.

The attached drawing shows, by way of example of execution of the object of the invention, a round watch, without the box; it represents the watch from the front, the reverse being the side of the plate.

The frame of the movement comprises the plate 1, the barrel bridge 2, a cross-shaped bridge 3, the cock 5 and the bridges 4 and 5 'of the escapement members. The barrel 6 drives the pinion 7 of the escapement wheel 8, via the pinion 9 and the large medium wheel 10, the pinion 11 and the small medium wheel 12 and pinion 13 and field wheel 14.

The barrel ratchet 15 is controlled, during the winding of the mainspring, by the winding wheel 16, by means of two references 17, 18.

The bridge 3, in which the axes of the wheels 12 and 14 are pivoted, supports the timer comprising. the roadway 19, the timer transmission 20 with its pinion 21, as well as the barrel wheel 22. The roadway 19 is driven on the pin 23, on which is adjusted with heavy friction an auxiliary wheel 10 'meshing with the large wheel average 10. As a result, carriageway 19 turns in the required direction, at the rate of one turn in 60 minutes. The roadway is arranged outside the center of the movement, on a diametral axis passing through the winding stem 24 and the center of the movement; it carries the 25 minute hand, while the 26 hour hand is placed on the tube of the cannon wheel 22.

The dial is formed by a crown 27 concentric with the pin 23 and starting at the center of rotation of the hour and minute hands. The outer diameter of the dial is not much larger than the radius of the watch movement, which makes most of the movement visible from the front, side of the bridges. In order to be able to set the hands on time, the pin 23 carries, on the side of the plate 1, a riveted wheel (not shown) meshing with a time setting reference.

The watch could also mark the second. For this purpose, it may be provided with a second hand which would be placed on the axis of the field wheel 14, which axis should pass through the dial 27. The seconds circle would be traced on the dial which may have a single shape. little different from that shown in the drawing.

According to another embodiment, the watch could mark the second by means of a disc glued to the field wheel 14 or fixed to the axis of the latter. This disc would carry the seconds circle which would move opposite an index traced on the dial 27.

Due to the particular arrangement of the cog, the field wheel 14 and hence the second hand respectively the seconds disc rotate in the usual anti-clockwise direction, which is however unimportant from the point of view of the goal. of the invention.
