Calendar timepiece. The present invention relates to a calendar timepiece comprising an internally toothed crown bearing the indications of the calendar.
This timepiece is characterized by an intermediate mobile which is driven by a wheel integral with the barrel wheel and which drives a wheel controlling the toothed crown.
The appended drawing represents, by way of example, an embodiment of the object (the invention and a variant.
Fig. 1 is a plan view, on the dial side, of part of a timepiece movement. FIG: 2 is a section along II-II of FIG. 1.
Fig. 3 is a similar section of a variant.
The plate of the watch shown is. designated by 1. A ring 2 internally toothed is rotatably mounted in a peripheral annular groove 3 of the plate. This crown bears on its outer face the date figures of the month intended to appear in a window. 5 practiced in dial 6.
The cannon wheel is designated by 7; it is integral with a wheel 8 located above it, driving a wheel 9 integral with a pinion 10. The latter drives a wheel 11 carrying a finger 12 intended to abut against the teeth of the crown 2 to move this last of one tooth per revolution. The gear ratios are chosen such that, the wheel 8 making one revolution per 12 hours, the wheel 11 making one revolution per 24 hours.
The intercalation of the intermediate mobile 9-10, between the wheel 8 and the wheel 11, makes it possible to reduce the diameter of the wheel 11 so that it becomes possible to fully accommodate this wheel 11 in the thickness of the plate. tine, for example in the space between the barrel 13, the balance plate 14 and the periphery of the movement. The toothed crown 2 can also be housed in the thickness of the plate. Thus, the thickness of the movement is reduced, in particular at the periphery, which allows the movement to be mounted in more elegant boxes.
The toothed crown 2 is subjected to the action of a jumper 15 articulated at 16 on the plate and that a spring 17 applies against the teeth of the crown.
It should be noted that the center of the wheel 11 is located outside the straight line designated by 18 passing through the center of the crown 2 and through the tip of the tooth 2a located opposite the wheel 11. Thus, the finger 12 only drives crown 2 when wheel 11 turns in the direction of arrow 19. When wheel 11 turns in the opposite direction, finger 12 moves tooth 2a by an insufficient value for the jumper to complete this movement and the crown returns to its initial position.
Under these conditions, the crown 2 can be moved manually, without a special control member, by the time-setting crown (not shown) of the watch, without having to turn the 24-hour hands for each displacement of the crown. 2. It suffices to drag the finger 12 thereof in a back and forth movement controlled by a back and forth movement of the time setting.
In the variant of FIG. 3, the dial designated by 20 has a bulge in its central part. The wheel 21 integral with the cannon wheel 22 is located below the latter. This wheel 21, the intermediate moving body designated by 23-24, the wheel 25 controlling the crown and the latter designated by 26 are all arranged in the thickness of the plate 27.
