Carburetor for internal combustion engines. The object of this invention is a carburetor for internal combustion engines of which an inlet valve for the fuel is actuated by the suction of the engine.
According to the invention, the carburettor has an adjustable collar limiting the lift of the valve, a groove the capacity of which decreases towards the seat of the valve being made in the valve stem and serving for the admission of the valve. fuel in the mixing chamber, the rise of the valve and the amount of fuel flowing through the groove in the mixing chamber being controlled by a cam in connection with an air regulator.
In the accompanying drawing is shown, by way of example, an embodiment of the object of the invention.
Fig. 1 shows the carburettor in elevation; Fig. 2 shows in section part of the carburetor; Fig. 3 is a vertical section of the car burator: FIG. 4 is. a side view of FIG. 1; Figs. 5 and 6 show details in elevation and. sectional.
As can be seen in fig. 1 to 4, a tube u is mounted fixed and an air regulator 11 in the form of a cylinder is mounted crazy on a box L. A part y in the form of < B> T is fixed on said box and has a seat with two cones for the double cone valve B G. This valve is pressed against its seat by a spring D resting on one side on a screw F forming the cover of the valve box and on the other side on a sleeve 3 resting on the upper cone of the valve B, the pressure exerted by the res out D on the valve can be varied by the screw F.
The stem K of the valve passing through said cover carries at the upper end a disc C, the purpose of which is mentioned later, and the stem .1 extending downwards has a conical groove H, the capacity of which decreases towards the valve seat. We see that the more screw F is unscrewed, the more the valve can open and more fuel flowing through channel A can pass through the groove H in the box L.
