Description

Device for controlling a timepiece The object of the present invention is a device for controlling a timepiece, comprising a pusher mounted in a sealed manner in a tube and that a spring tends to push towards it. outside, in inactive position.
This device is characterized by the fact that the tube and the head of the pusher both have a pair of diametrically opposed projections, those of the head being inside thereof and those of the tube on the outer periphery of its upper end, in order that the pusher can be kept in the active position, against its spring by causing the projections of the head to pass under those of the tube by rotation.
The drawing shows, by way of example, an embodiment of the object of the present invention.
Figs. 1 and 3 are two axial sections in inactive position, respectively active; figs. 2 and 4 are sections through II-II of FIG. 1, respectively IV-IV of fig. 3.
In the drawing, 1 represents a watch case middle part, crossed by a tube 2. In this one is axially mounted the pusher 3, 7, 9 that a coil spring 4 tends to push outwards, in its position. inactive; 5 is a sealing package.
The tube 2 has, on the outer periphery of its upper end, two diametrically opposed projections 6; similarly, the head 3, 7 of the pusher has, internally, two diametrically opposed projections 8.
Figs. 1 and 2 show the pusher in its external, inactive position, where it is held by the spring 4. To bring it into the active position, it suffices to press on the part of its head, against this spring; in this position, its inner end 9 could for example close the switch of an electric lamp placed inside the room; it could, in the same way, block an index finger, a part used to stop an alarm clock, etc. If this pusher must be kept for some time in this active position, it suffices to turn its head so that the projections of the latter engage under those of the tube, as shown in fig. 3 and 4.
In the drawing, the head 3 is formed of two parts driven one on the other, but this head could only be in one piece and the axial grooves, which it presents on its cylindrical periphery, to facilitate its operation. , could be replaced by radial striations on its upper face.
