Dans les fig. 1 et 2, 1 désigne la. carrure d'une boîte de chronographe dans un trou lise de laquelle est mis à force un tube 2 dont la. partie 2 dépassant la carrure à l'ex- est filetée extérieurement; l'extrémité intérieure du tube 2 présente un fond 3 percé (l'im trou axial dans lequel -est guidée la tige .1. Sur l'extrémité extérieure de la tige 4 ust fixée par un rivet â, une tête 6 en forme de calotte;
Waterproof pusher. The object of the present invention is a sealed pusher for a timepiece, (1: u, actérisé in that it comprises a head integral with a rod guided in a tube integral with the.
box, a screw-down crown -Ur said tube having an opening, ixiak for the passage of the head and means for limiting the outward stroke of said head under the action of the antagonist spring, and a solid annular package of the fixed parts of the pusher and acting radially on a movable part of the pusher.
The accompanying drawing represents, to. by way of example, three embodiments of the object of the invention.
Figs. 1 and 2 are axial sections of the. first embodiment in the two extreme positions of the pusher.
The fi-. 3 and 4 are axial sections of the second and third embodiments. in rest position.
In all the figures, the same organs oiit. designated by the same reference signs.
In fig. 1 and 2, 1 denotes the. middle part of a chronograph case in a hole read from which is forced a tube 2 including the. part 2 protruding from the middle at the ex- is externally threaded; the inner end of the tube 2 has a drilled bottom 3 (the axial hole in which -is guided the rod .1. On the outer end of the rod 4 is fixed by a rivet â, a head 6 in the form of cap;
the internal diameter of the ca lotte 6 is greater than the diameter of the rod 4, so as to leave between its side wall and the rod a sufficient space for the coil spring 7 which serves to remind the head 6 integral with the rod 4 in its rest position shown in FIG. 1 after its actuation.
In the bottom of the tube 2 is housed an annular sealing package 8 which is pressed against the bottom 3 of the tube by a drilled plug 9 screwed into a ta.-rauda: ge of said tube. The pusher is completed by a crown 10 which screws onto the external threaded part 2 'of the tube 2 and into the axial opening of which the cap 6 forming the head of the pusher is guided. The outward stroke of the head 6. Integral with the rod 4 under the action of the spring 7 is limited by an internal shoulder 10 'of the coulter ring 10 which abuts the annular flange 6' presented by the inner end. of the shell 6.
The pusher is assembled as follows: The rod 4 with its cap 6 riveted and carrying the spring 7 is engaged from the outside in the hole of the package 8 which was previously placed at the bottom of the tube 2 and tightened by the drilled stopper 9, after which it suffices to screw the crown 10 on the threaded part 2 \ of the tube 2. The inner end of the spring 7 comes to rest on the drilled stopper 9.
In the embodiment of FIG. 3, the sealing package 8, instead of being housed in the bottom of the tube 2 and enclosing the rod 4 contiguously, is housed in the bottom of the recess d8 the ring 10 and contiguously surrounds the head 6 of the pusher which is formed by a cap added by force on the outer end of the rod 4.
Package 8 - is tightened against the bottom of the crown 10 by a pierced stopper 9 screwed into the threaded opening of the crown, the end of the thread serving to screw the crown on the threaded part 2 'of the tube 2 passing the middle. The cap 6 has an annular flange 6 'which serves to limit the outward movements of the. rod 4 under the action of the spring 7 housed in the bottom of the tube 2. In this example, the crown is screwed last on the tube 2 after tightening the package by the pierced cap 9.
In the. embodiment of FIG. 4, the package 8 is housed in the bottom of the tapped hole of the middle part 1 and pressed against the bottom of this hole by the tube 2 itself which forms a drilled clamping plug and is screwed into this tapped hole.
The pusher according to the invention has the following advantage over known pushers: the push rod is inserted into the hole in the caseband from the outside, the movement being already fitted. It is thus possible to eliminate the casing circle supporting the rod of the pusher which, until now, was inserted into the hole in the middle part from the inside and therefore had to be put in place before the casing of the movement.
