La. faible largeur de ce rebord et; une creu- sure 1" faite dans le fond l' permettent que la. partie centrale de la bague d'étanchéité soit libre: ce dispositif fait: l'objet du brevet suisse NI, 226716. Le tout est. assemblé en vissant la vis 8 dans le canon 5"' de la tête du pous soir;
Dans la, deuxième forme d'exécution, nron- t.r#,e en fit;. 2. toutes les pièces sont semblables à celles de la. fig. 1, mais, dans ce cas, la douille 6 avec son fond percé ou rebord inté rieur 6' est chassé-, à force dans l'évidement cylindrique 9 de la pièce de guidage au lieu d'y être ajustée librement: en modifiant la position axiale de la douille dans cet;
La fi-. 4 montre urne douille 6 avec fond 1xrcè 6' qui, ajrrst@e librement dans l'évide- ment cylindrique 9 d'une pièce de guidage semblable à celle de la fig. 3, viendrait trrendre appui par son rebord extérieur 6"' contre ]'extrémité de ladite pièoe;
Dans la forme d'exécution de la fig. 5, la Iri(,ce de guidage est une pièce tubulaire pré sentant deux tronçons 10 et 11 et elle est vissée dans la carrure de la boîte 2 par son tronçon fileté 10, de plus petit diamètre. tan dis que la porté,(- Il' du grand tronçon 11 vient se bloquer contre une surface correspon dante de la boîte;
Pour visser la pièce de guidage, il a été exécuté -diamé tralement deux encoches longitudinaaes 32 de forme demi-cylindrique, visibles aussi dans la vue en plan @de la fig. 10, -dans la. paroi de son tronçon 11;
Waterproof pusher. The object of the. The present invention is a sealed pusher attached to a box by a guide piece into which is pressed a sealing package which jointly surrounds the. pusher rod, the moving parts of which are biased by an opposing spring.
This pusher is characterized in that the spring bears, on the one hand, against the bottom of a circular groove of the head of the pusher into which the guide piece penetrates and, on the other hand, against a face of the pusher. a thin internal annular stop member integral with the, part @de,, the aforementioned guide at least axially in the direction of the thrust exerted by the spring,
the package is vant hole pressed between the other face of this stop member and a drilled bottom integral & said guide piece also at least axially dan. the same direction as the stop argan, the pusher being assembled to the guide member by means of removable elements, ass, emblage.
The accompanying drawing shows, by way of example, several embodiments and a variant of detail of the sealed pusher forming the subject of the present invention.
Fig. 1 shows, in axial section, the first embodiment.
Fig. 2 is an axial section of the second and FIG. 3 a section of the third embodiment.
Fig. 4 shows a sectional detail.
Figs. 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9 show, still in axial section, other embodiments, and FIG. 10 is a plan view of the embodiment of FIG. 9, the head @du pusher being removed.
In all the figures, similar parts are denoted by the same numbers. In the embodiment of ila fig. 1, the guide piece, consisting of a tubular piece 1, with the bottom of the manufacture, is forced into the thin middle part 2 of a case intended for a watch with ch @ ro- nog raphe; the. sealing ring 3 constituting a package, in plexigam for example, is.
pressed against the bottom l 'of the guide piece (- by the coil spring 1 bearing against the bottom 5 "of a groove <B> 5 </B>' of the head of the pusher 5 to act on the package via the thin bottom drilled 6 'with a <B> fi </B> socket, until it abuts on the shoulder of the recess 7 made in the. guiding: this bottom 6 'constitutes an internal annular rim which is integral with the guide part, radially and axially in the direction of the thrust exerted by the spring.
The small width of this rim and; a 1 "hollow made in the bottom allows the central part of the sealing ring to be free: this device is the subject of Swiss patent NI, 226716. The whole is assembled by screwing in the screw. 8 in the barrel 5 "'from the head of the evening;
the head of the screw rests against the bottom of an outer groove 1 '"which the bottom l' presents, in which it is partly embedded. The rim 6 'of the sleeve could be replaced by a simple thin washer but it exi ;, erail:
, to be guided, that the. coil of the spring is in contact over a larger area. To strengthen the seal of the device, it suffices to modify the diameter of the hole in the. sealing ring by lowering the shoulder of the recess 7 a little with a cutter or putting a washer between the bottom l 'of the guide piece and the package.
Such a pusher has. was executed in the following dimensions: For a stroke of l mm and. a caseband of the same thickness, the total length of the pusher is only 3.60 mm .: in addition, it protrudes only 2.60 mm from the case and the spring a. a space of 2 mm to develop. The spring not being protected by the si- package, will be made of stainless steel or beryllium ply, for example.
A sealed pusher is thus produced with an antagonist spring of normal length, in particular for a relatively thin-walled box which does not .la. externally exceeds that of the. quantity required by its stroke increased by the thickness of the bottom of the pusher and the guide piece of which does not protrude inside the box. In other words. for a determined stroke, the embodiment makes it possible to obtain a pusher, the total length of which is reduced to a minimum.
In the second embodiment, nron- t.r #, e en fit ;. 2. All parts are similar to the. fig. 1, but, in this case, the sleeve 6 with its drilled bottom or internal rim 6 'is forced into the cylindrical recess 9 of the guide piece instead of being freely adjusted there: by modifying the axial position of the sleeve in this;
Obviously, it is easy to change the pressure exerted by the ring <the seal 3 on the rod of the screw 8 of the pusher.
The fit. 3 shows a variant of the embodiment of FIG. 1; all the pieces are ana dogues ruais. this time, the socket 6, which is reversed. contains the: sealing ring 3 and abuts by its tubular end 6 "against the bottom l 'of the guide member. It is seen that it is sufficient <B> to </B> change the length (the sleeve for modify the tightness of the package.
The fi-. 4 shows a casing 6 with a circular bottom 6 'which fits freely in the cylindrical recess 9 of a guide piece similar to that of FIG. 3, would come trrendre support by its outer rim 6 "'against]' end of said piece;
this bush could also be forced into said or- rane, because its outer rim 6 "'would allow it to be removed, in order to modify the pressure on the package.
In the embodiment of FIG. 5, the Iri (, this guide is a tubular part having two sections 10 and 11 and it is screwed into the middle part of the case 2 by its threaded section 10, of smaller diameter. Tan say that the worn, (- It 'of the large section 11 comes to block against a corresponding surface of the box;
this operation will be. carried out with a special screwdriver taking in two notches 12 made with a small bur. The thin inner ledge 13, in this case. came manufacturing with. the guide piece, and the.
sealing ring 3, fitted with flange in its housing, is prfée against the face 14 of this rim by a threaded bottom 15 which is screwed inside said part and. acts through a thin washer 16; this device is the subject of Swiss patent NI) 216198. To allow its screwing, the central hole of the bottom 15 is polygonal.
A screw 8, the head of which is partially embedded in the recess 17 of the bottom 15, also assembles the head of the pusher 5 to the guide part and the coil spring 4 also bears, on the one hand, against the bottom 5 "of a circular groove 5 'of said head and, on the other hand, against the face 18 of the inner rim 13. Lc tapping for the bottom 15 located at the.
same end of the die guide piece as the thread for its attachment to the box provides the advantage of allowing the finished turning. In addition, it suffices with this: device: to rotate the base 15 a little to modify the diameter of the hole in the sealing ring and, consequently, the force with which it grips the push rod.
In the embodiment of fig. 6, the plunger shown does not differ from that of fi.g. 5 that in the manner of pressing the package 3,; housed in the recess 19 of the guide piece 10-11, against the face 14 of the thin inner rim 13 by a bottom 20 forced into the recess 19 .
The embodiment of FIG. 7 is also similar to that of FIG. 5 and differs from this only in the way of fixing the bottom 21 and of pressing the package 3 into the guide piece 10-11; in this case, the bottom 21 is held in place by a spring-ring 22 which is locked in an internal circular groove 23.
In the form of execution shown in fig. 8, the bottom 21, identical to that of FIG. 7, is fixed by crimping in a recess 24 at the end of the threaded section 10 of the guide piece and the package 3 is.
pressed against this bottom by the thin inner rim or bottom 25 'of a threaded bolt 25 which is screwed .in the threaded recess 26 made in. the large section It @of the piece of age mistletoe and which acts by means of the ron delle <B> 27; </B> the recess of the socket in advance to allow insert part of the coil spring 4.
In the last embodiment, my entry in FIG. 9, the package 3 is pressed against the thin interior ledge 13, becoming one with the. @de guide part 10-11, by means of a bottom threads 15 and an intermediate washer 16 similar to those of the. embodiment of FIG. 5.
In this case, the threaded rod of the pusher 28 is one with the head of the pusher 29 and allows <B> </B> to be assembled to the guide piece by a screwed nut 30 on said threaded rod.
In addition, the circular groove 31 made in the middle part of the case 2 allows, while retaining a, res out 4, still of sufficient length ,, to realize a pusher which protrudes less outside the case; the large section 11 of the guide piece can thus be shortened and the head: of the pusher by the same amount, that is to say of the. quantity of which its tubular part can penetrate into the groove 31.
To screw on the guide piece, two longitudinal notches 32 of semi-cylindrical shape, also visible in the plan view @de fig. 10, -in the. wall of its section 11;
: one could obviously also make three or four notches and use a strip with three or four corresponding tabs protruding from its core which s chalk adjusted freely: in. the recess of the section II. In order to be able to screw the guide part, its section -of large diameter could also be polygonal.
In all the examples of pushers described, the package is formed from a single ring. sealing, but it goes without saying that it can have more than one.
