Description
Mécanisme de seconde au centre. Le réglage du frein -de s'axe de seconde au centre est difficultueux avec les moyens connus: à ce jour.
L'invention a pour objet un mécanisme ,de seconde au centre, caractérisé par un organe influençant le frottement freinant l'axe -de pignon -de seconde au centre et qui est pourvu d'un réglage mécanique de précision.
Le dessin ci-joint montre en coupe, à titre d'exemple, une forme d'exécution de l'objet de l'invention.
Le mécanisme comporte un ressort de frein 1 qui s'appuie sur l'extrémité 2 de l'axe de seconde au centre 3. Ce ressort est fixé sur un pont par une vis 4. L'axe 3 tourne à l'intérieur du pignon 6 de la grande moyenne. Il est muni d'un côté d'un -épaulement 7 dont le diamètre correspond à celui de la forure du pignon 6, de l'autre côté, il traverse un palier 8 disposé à l'intérieur du pignon 6 de la grande moyenne et contre lequel il bute par un épaulement 3a. Une vis 5 permet de régler mécaniquement et avec précision la pression sur l'extrémité 2 -de l'axe 3 et, par conséquent, la pression entre l'épaulement 3a et le palier 8 où :se produit le freinage de ,l'axe 3.
L'épaulement 7 pourrait être remplacé par un second palier ou le palier 8 par un second épaulement. Dans ce cas, l'axe 3 pren drait appui pour résister à la poussée du ressort 1 sur un palier de butée. Cet épau lement 7 et le palier 8 sont ainsi toujours coaxiaux et garantissent la fonction .de l'axe 3 dont le pivot 9 porte l'aiguille de seconde au centre 10.
Cela représente un avantage considérable sur les constructions ayant des paliers dans différentes pièces et dont l'ali gnement axial présente plus de difficultés qu'avec la construction décrite.

The mechanism comprises a brake spring 1 which rests on the end 2 of the second axis in the center 3. This spring is fixed on a bridge by a screw 4. The axis 3 turns inside the pinion 6 of the great average. It is provided on one side with a shoulder 7 whose diameter corresponds to that of the bore of the pinion 6, on the other side, it passes through a bearing 8 arranged inside the pinion 6 of the large middle and against which it abuts by a shoulder 3a. A screw 5 makes it possible to mechanically and with precision adjust the pressure on the end 2 - of the axis 3 and, consequently, the pressure between the shoulder 3a and the bearing 8 where: takes place the braking of, the axis 3.
The shoulder 7 could be replaced by a second bearing or the bearing 8 by a second shoulder. In this case, the axis 3 would take support to resist the thrust of the spring 1 on a thrust bearing. This shoulder 7 and the bearing 8 are thus always coaxial and guarantee the function of the axis 3, the pivot 9 of which carries the second hand at the center 10.
This is a considerable advantage over constructions having bearings in different parts and the axial alignment of which presents more difficulties than with the construction described.
