Device for assembling cylindrical parts, in particular tubular members. The present invention relates to a device for assembling cylindrical parts, in particular tubular members, ca acterized in that it comprises an ankle comprising a part eccentric with respect to to one at the bottom. at least of its ends housed in a fixed connecting piece, the device being arranged such that a rotational movement imparted to the ankle, around its axis, causes the locking of at least one piece against another, forming a stop.
The accompanying drawing shows, to by way of example, two embodiments of the object of the invention.
Fig. 1 shows an arranged device for two tubes arranged perpendicularly to one to the other.
Fig. 2 shows this device in profile. Fig. 3 is a view of a device arranged for two tubes arranged end to end, with articulation.
The first embodiment concerns the assembly of two tubes 1 and 2 crossing each other in the same plane. The connecting piece 3, in the shape of U, comprises at the end of its two branches 3a and 3 "</ B> a hole 4 for the wise pitch of the tube 1, the part connecting the said branches being pierced with a hole 5 whose axis is perpendicular to that of hole 4.
The two branches are still each crossed by a hole, that of the branch 31 being larger but placed on the same axis as that of the branch 31, these two holes forming respectively the housings of the head 6 and of the extreme pivot 7 of an ankle whose median bearing 8 is eccentric with respect to said parts < B> 6 and 7. The head of this ankle com takes a cavity 9 intended to receive the end of an element for blocking the device. This blocking is obtained by imparting a rotational movement to the ankle causing an axial displacement of the tube 2 against the tube 1, forming a stop.
The end of said tube 2 may include a reinforcing piece 10 whose part intended to be applied to the tube 1 is cut to shape, to obtain a larger grip surface.
The extreme pivot 7 of the ankle may include a circular groove 7a in which it is intended to engage the edge of the troLi in order to prevent axial displacement of the ankle .
This embodiment offers the advantage of being easily removable thanks to its great simplicity. It is particularly suitable for the making of shelving for warehouses, small tubular constructions, show bays, etc.
The second embodiment eoncerne the assembly of two tubes placed end to end, Pun of the two tubes being provided with a ball joint. A connecting piece 12 encloses between its two branches 12a and 12b the end part of a tube 13, said branches and the tube being crossed by a pin 15 at middle part eccentric with respect to at its two ends. The end part of the tube 13 comprises a reinforcing piece 16 comprising a spherical shaped recess in which is intended to pivot a ball joint 17 attached to the end of a tube 14.
The ball joint 1.7, making it possible to direct the tube 14, is retained by the part connecting the two branches 12a, 12b # which is pierced with a hole 18 smaller than the diameter of the ball joint.
By printing to the ankle 15 a movement of rotation, one causes the displacement of the tube 13 against the patella, retained by the edges of the hole 18, and the said ball joint is locked in its seat. It is thus possible to have the assembly in any position of the two tubes.
This embodiment will advantageously be employed for laboratory, demonstration, etc. apparatus which often has to be adapted to of different sizes and shapes.
