Description

Shock-absorbing bearing for a small mechanical mobile, in particular a measuring device The present invention relates to a shock-absorbing bearing for a small mechanical mobile, in particular a measuring device, according to the claim of the main patent.

This bearing is characterized by the fact that its support has, in the immediate vicinity of said seat, a flat surface, perpendicular to the axis of the bearing, with which cooperates a corresponding flat surface of the front end of the bearing body, in the aim to ensure the plumb, at rest, of the bearing body, the relative position of the annular seat and the flat surface of the bearing support on the one hand as well as the annular seat and the flat surface of the bearing. bearing body on the other hand being such that the two flat surfaces are slightly separated from each other when the bearing body is at rest.

The drawing represents, by way of example, an embodiment of the object of the invention.

The figure is an axial section of a shock absorber bearing.

This bearing comprises a support constituted by a sleeve 28 in which are driven on the one hand a plug 29, and on the other hand a plug 30 pierced with a central hole 31 for the passage of the shaft 32. A frustoconical seat 33 is formed in a thick sissement 30a of the stopper 30. This seat is intended to receive a kitten 34 of a crapaudine 35. The kitten has, for this purpose, a bearing 36 formed by a surface of revolution whose generatrix is an arc of circle having its center coinciding with the bottom 37 of the crapaudine recess. The anterior end of the latter is only engaged in the kitten 34.

A coil spring 38 surrounds the crank 35 and is supported on the one hand on the kitten 34 and on the other hand on the plug 29. This coil spring serves to return the bearing body formed by the bearing to the rest position. crapaudine 35 and its kitten 34 when this bearing body has moved as a result of shocks suffered by the shaft. The centering of the bearing body is provided by the frustoconical seat 33 of the plug 30 with which the bearing 36 of the kitten 34 cooperates.

However, in order to ensure the plumbing of the slider when it is at rest, the stopper 30 has a flat surface 39, per pendicular to the axis of the bearing, with which a flat surface 40 of the kitten 34 cooperates. These two surfaces are normally a very short distance from each other, which widens machining tolerances, but come into contact with each other as soon as the slider tends to tilt.

Very slight tilting of the crapaudine authorized. by the slight distance which separates the two surfaces 39 and 40 are not important, mainly because the bottom 37 of the hollow of the slider is at the same time the center of the arc of circle generating the span 36 It follows that, during weak tilts, the slider rotates around point 37, which does not modify the position of shaft 32.
