Description

Self-winding watch piece. The object of the. The present invention is a self-winding timepiece, in which this winding is effected by means of an oscillating weight rotatably mounted on the frame.

This part is characterized in that the mounting of this mass on a frame takes place by means of a barrel, around the axis of which the mass rotates freely and which has a base resting on the frame and provided a device for its attachment to it.

The accompanying drawing shows, by way of example and in part, one embodiment of the object of the present invention.

Fig. 1 is an axial vertical section and FIG. 2. a plan of a detail.

On a part of the frame 1, for example on the barrel bridge here, rests, via its round base 3, the barrel; 2. which is fixed to the frame by three screws screwed into the latter and whose conical heads fit in the recesses 4 - of the base 3; the barrel 2 has a tapping 5. 6 is the rotating mass whose movements produce the winding -du mainspring; this mass has, on its underside, an annular projection 7 fitted to the outer periphery of the barrel 2 on which it is held by a screw & which passes freely through it and which screws into the internal thread 5 of the barrel 2.

An extremely simple and robust assembly of the re-assembly mass is thus achieved.

Of course, the invention is not limited to what is shown in the drawing. In particular, the barrel, instead of being in one piece with its base, could be attached to it.
