Entre les bagues 1, 8 et 4 sont logées cinq billes 14 maintenues en place au moyen d'une cage annulaire plate 15 ; celle-ci présente, sur son bord intérieur, cinq creusures 27 dans les quelles sont engagées les billes 14 ; cette cage 15 est montée dans une cavité annulaire intérieure 25 des bagues 4 et 8 ; à cet effet, ces dernières sont pourvues, de chaque côté de leur plan d'as semblage, de creusures annulaires 24 et 26 ;
Device for automatic winding of a watch The present invention relates to a device for automatic winding of a watch, comprising a ball bearing having an inner ring fixed to the plate thereof and carrying, by the intermediate ball, an outer ring in two parts loaded with an unbalance forming a winding mass; this device is characterized by the fact that the outer bay carries a bar intended to drag therefrom the crank pin of a crank connected to a shaft forming part of the mechanism for winding the mainspring of the watch.
The appended drawing represents, by way of example, an embodiment of the device which is the subject of the invention.
Fig. 1 is a plan view, enlarged; Fig. 2 is an enlarged partial sectional view along II-11 of FIG. 1; Fig. 3 is an enlarged section of a construction detail; Fig. 4 is an enlarged plan view of another construction detail; Fig. 5 is a schematic enlarged sectional view of part of the bar.
The device shown comprises a ball bearing comprising an inner ring 1 capable of being fixed to the plate of a watch by means of supports 2, the latter being pressed into orifices 3 of the ring 1, and a outer ring 4 carrying, using screws 5 and 6, an outer closing ring 8 and an unbalance 9.
On the ring 4 is fixed, by means of screws 7, a bar 10 intended to actuate the crank pin 12 of a crank 13 driving a shaft 30 ensuring the winding of the watch spring; the bar 10, arranged along a diameter of the ring 4 which can be rotated under the action of the unbalance 9, has an orifice 11 in which the crank pin 12 is engaged; a clearance is provided between the latter and the wall of the orifice 11, clearance allowing a diametral bearing of the ring 4 which is necessary for the correct functioning of the latter.
Between the rings 1, 8 and 4 are housed five balls 14 held in place by means of a flat annular cage 15; the latter has, on its inner edge, five recesses 27 in which the balls 14 are engaged; this cage 15 is mounted in an internal annular cavity 25 of the rings 4 and 8; for this purpose, the latter are provided, on each side of their assembly plane, with annular recesses 24 and 26;
these separate the paths 16 and 17 of the rails 4 and 8 which, in a radial plane passing through the axis _ of the bearing, are represented by two arcs of a circle whose radii 31 and 32 are equal and whose centers 18 and 19 are different (fig. 3); these centers 18 and 19 are placed on two axes 20 and 21 passing through the center of a ball 14, and together with the trace 33 of the plane determined by the centers of the balls 14, form the minimum contact angles 22 and 23 of each of these.
The raceway 34 of the inner ring 1 is shown in a radial plane passing through the axis of the bearing, by an arc of a circle 34 whose radius 35 is slightly greater than that of a ball 14 and whose center tre 36 is located on trail 33.
