Description

Bumper for bearings of timepieces. There are bumper bearings for timepieces in which the pierced stone is suspended from a spring or elastic device in the form of a spiral or of another shape, clamped in a bearing body. This is done: generally by means of a split ring which keeps this spring in place without hindering its movements.

In the bumper device according to the invention, the counter-pivot stone, which still forms part of these types of bearing, is held by a spring in a rebate of the split ring. This makes it possible to save a few tenths of a millimeter in the height of the device.

The attached drawing shows, by way of example, one embodiment of the bumper device according to the invention.

Fig. 1 is a plan view thereof with parts in section, and FIG. 2 is a section through the plane II-II of FIG. 1, passing through the axis of the mobile to be protected.

The cock is designated by 1, the cockerel by 2. In the cock board is fitted with hard friction a bearing body 3 which has the shape of a cylindrical container, the bottom of which is pierced with a hole to allow the passage of l. axis 5 - of the mobile to protect. The pinion 6 of this axis rotates in a drilled stone 7 driven into the central part of an elastic device 8 which is held in the bearing body by a split ring 9 and springing. This ring has a rebate 10 in which the contre-pivot_ 11 is held by a star spring 12.

The operation of such a device is known: the radial components of the shocks on the watch are absorbed by the elastic device 8, while the axial components tend to raise the counter-pivot against the action of the star spring. 12.
