Description

   <Desc/Clms Page number 1>

 Timepiece bearing The object of the present invention is a timepiece bearing, comprising a kitten which is disposed in a housing of the frame and contains both the bearing and the counter-pivot.

     This bearing is characterized by the fact that this kitten is engaged freely but without play in the aforementioned housing and, in addition, is driven into a plate fixed to the frame.

  The drawing shows, by way of example, an embodiment of the object of the present invention.

  Fig. 1 is a plan view thereof, and FIG. 2, a section through II-II of FIG. 1.

  3 represents the plank of a movement bridge. The kitten 1, in one piece, contains the counter-pivot stone 4 resting on an inner shoulder 5 of the kitten and the pierced stone 6, these two stones being and remaining at the normal distance. The kitten 1 is engaged freely, but without play, in a hole 9 of the board; it is itself driven into the plate 2 which is fixed by the screw 10 in said board. 8 are two passages made in the lower part of the kitten up to the height of the shoulder 5 and allowing access to the oil chamber.

  To adjust the axial range of the rotating mobile in the above-described bearing, it suffices to vary the height of the position of the kitten in the plate, the relative position of the two stones not changing.

  On the other hand, the usual kitten containing the two stones at the same time is hunted to the desired height in its housing after the nickel plating and there is a risk, despite all the care, of scratching the nickel plating; the above-described bearing does not have this defect.
