Description
Device for elastic mounting of a balance on its cage. The object of the present invention is a device for resiliently mounting a balance on its cage, characterized by two springs, one of which is mounted on the plate and maintains the lower counter-pivot of the balance against the corresponding pivot, while the other, fixed on a bridge, maintains the upper counter-pivot of said balance against the upper pivot thereof. The accompanying drawing represents, by way of example, one embodiment of the object of the 'invention.
Fig. 1 is a section along the axis of a balance provided with said embodiment; fig. 2 is a top plan view of the rooster and FIG. 3 a view and) bottom plan of the plate.
1 is the axis of the balance, 2 the plate, 3 the cock, 4 a ring fixed by two screws 5 on the cock, and 6 the racket.
The upper pivot of the balance axis rotates in a drilled stone 7 set in the cock, 8 is the counter-pivot, housed inside the ring 4, and held against the upper pivot by a spring 10 in the form of U whose two branches are fixed to the cock by screws 11.
The lower pivot of the axis 1 of the balance rotates in a pierced stone 12, set in the plate 2. The leaf spring 14 fixed by two screws 15 to the plate, maintains the counter-pivot 16 in a recess 17 of the plate. , against the lower pivot of the balance.
If, during an impact, the axis 1 of the balance tends to rise, the pivots will slide in the pierced stones 7 and 12 and this movement will be damped by the spring 10 which will return all the parts in place. If, on the contrary, during an impact, the axis of the balance tends to lower, fe will be the spring 14 which will absorb the shock and which will bring all the parts back into place.
