Description

Montre-bracelet.

Wristwatch. The present invention relates to a wristwatch in which the bracelet is in the form of two rigid arched branches, sleeping at least moon is articulated to. the box and is subjected to the action of a spring which tends to close it. This wristwatch is characterized by a screw screwing into a solid member of the case and resting on the branch to form an adjustable stop against which the branch is applied by the spring, the whole (the, way that the opening of the bracelet can be adjusted by means of said screw.

The appended drawing represents, by way of example, an embodiment of the object of the invention.

Fig. 1 is. an elevational view of the inontre-braeelet> a part being cut away, and fig. 2 is a section along II-II of h: fig. 1, on a larger scale.

The watch shown comprises a box 1 carrying two tubular parts 2. Inside each of these parts 2 is. pivoted, around an axis 3, a rigid arched branch 4: the two branches constitute the bracelet.

inside each of them is. arranged around the axis 3, a tube 5 carrying a res- #, ort <i coil 6 whose one end 6ra bears on the box 1 and which. the other end 6b extends to. inside the branch and takes i.ppui on the inner face 4a thereof. The i essort 6 tends to close the branch.

The lower face? Ca of each tubular part '' carries, welded to it, two ferrules 7 in each of which is screwed a screw 8 pressing on the face 4a of the branch. The screws 8 constitute stops against which the branch is applied by the spring 6. By screwing the screws 8 more or less, the spacing of the two branches is changed, which makes it possible to adjust the opening of the bracelet according to the poi gnet of the person wearing the watch.

As a variant, the two screws 8 of each tubular part 2 could. be replaced by a single screw located in the median plane of the wristwatch. It would then be preferable to reinforce the inner face 4a of the branch 4 so as to prevent the latter from being knocked out by the end of the screw.
