Marquise watch The present patent relates to a marquise watch, that is to say a watch formed of a case enclosing the movement and two arched branches forming a bracelet.
This marquise watch is characterized by the fact that at least one of the branches is formed of a first section rigidly fixed to the case and of a second section connected to the first by a spring hinge tending to elastically return the second section to the case. extension of the first.
The appended drawing represents, by way of example, an embodiment of the object of the invention. Fig. 1 is an elevational view thereof; fig. 2 is a plan view. The marquise watch shown is constituted by a case 10 enclosing the movement and the indicator members appearing through a protective glass 11 and by two arched branches 12.
Each of these branches is formed of two sections, a section 13 rigidly fixed to the box 10 and a section 14 connected to the section 13 by a spring hinge. This articulation is formed by a hinge 15 with three knuckles and a leaf spring 16, one end of which is fixed inside the section 14 and the other end of which bears on the knuckles belonging to the section 13.
The purpose of this blade 16 is to recall the section 14 in the extension of the section 13 when it is moved away from it by the user when the latter puts his watch in place around his wrist.
In a variant, only one of the branches could be cut off, the other being a single piece rigidly fixed to the box.
