Device for fixing, to the cock, the outer end of a balance spring The object of the present invention is a device for fixing, to the cock, the outer end of a balance spring, comprising a holder. eyebolt able to rotate around the geometrical axis of the balance shaft.
This device is characterized by an annular shoulder, integral with this stud holder and capable of rotating in a bore of the cock, this shoulder and this bore being coaxial with the balance shaft, by an annular bearing of the cock which can rotate in said shoulder and by an elastic device acting between this shoulder and the cockerel to apply each of these parts against one of the sides of the cock.
The drawing shows, by way of example, an embodiment of the object of the present invention.
Fig. 1 is a plan view, taken above the rooster, and FIG. 2 is a sectional view through II-II of FIG. 1.
In these figures, 1 represents the board of the rooster 2, the cockerel around which the racket 3 rotates and the eyebolt holder 4 having a hole 4a in which the eyebolt to which the outer end of the hairspring can be fixed. An annular shoulder 5 which can rotate in a bore 6 of the cock, this shoulder and the bore being coaxial with the balance shaft is integral with this eyebolt holder 4.
The hull 2 is extended downwards by a bearing surface 7, fitted in the shoulder 5 and followed by a circular groove 8; 9 is an elastic key, in the form of a U, carried by the eyebolt holder and the two branches of which are inserted into two lateral grooves thereof and penetrate into the groove 8 of the cockpit. This key pushes the shoulder of the stud holder against the underside of the cock and the cockerel against the upper face of the latter.
So that the setting of the watch and the setting of the balance wheel are independent, it is necessary that the adjustment of the cockpit in the shoulder of the piton holder is hard enough so that, when moving the latter, the cockpit and racket are trained of the same value. On the other hand, the adjustment of the racket on the cockle must be soft enough so that, once the benchmark has been made, it is possible to retouch the adjustment by moving the racket without the cockle and the piton holder being moved. .
