Device for winding and setting the time of a watch The present patent relates to a device for winding and setting the time of a watch, comprising a winding stem arranged perpendicular to the plane of the movement and capable of 'occupy at least two axial positions.
This device is characterized by the fact that this rod has two teeth capable of engaging alternately according to the axial position of the rod, with one or the other of the two internal teeth, concentric with the rod, which the crown wheel has. , on the one hand, and a wheel connected to the timer, on the other hand.
The appended drawing represents, by way of example, an embodiment of the object of the invention and a variant of a detail.
Fig. 1 is a plan view of the watch, back side; fig. 2 is an enlarged scale and sectional view on 11 -11 of FIG. 1; fig. 3 is a view of a variant of the winding stem.
The watch shown is a wristwatch whose case is formed by a caseback 10 and a bezel 11. The dial is designated by 12, the movement plate by 13, the barrel bridge by 14 and the minute track by 15.
The winding device of this watch comprises a winding stem 16 arranged perpendicular to the plane of the movement. This rod, which is pivoted in the vicinity of the periphery of the movement in the plate 13 and the bridge 14, passes through the base 10. Its control member consists of a flat winding crown 17 partially embedded in the base 10 and fixed on a square of the rod 16 by a screw 18. This crown rotates in a sleeve 19 driven into the base 10. The seal is ensured by two gasket packings 2.0 and 21.
As usual, the rod 16 can occupy two axial positions corresponding to winding and setting the time respectively. These two positions are determined by two circular grooves 22 which the rod 16 presents and by an annular spring 23 which engages in one or the other of these grooves.
The kinematic connection between the winding stem 16 and the barrel ratchet 24 comprises a cylindrical toothing 25 cut in the body of the stem 16 and a crown wheel 26 surrounding the stem 16 and having, on the one hand, an internal toothing in taken with the toothing 25 when the rod is in the axial position in which it is shown in the drawing and, on the other hand, by an external toothing permanently meshing with the ratchet 24. The wheel 26 rests on the bridge 14 and is held in place by a spring washer 27.
The kinematic connection between the rod 16 and the timing wheel set 28 is provided by a conical toothing 29, by a wheel 30 mounted freely on the rod 16 and having a conical internal toothing in engagement with the toothing 29 when the rod 16 is in its position. second position, and by a timer transmission 31 permanently meshing with an external toothing of the wheel 30. The toothing 29 is formed by the cut head of a screw screwed into the end of the rod 16. All the toothings have teeth ending in a sharp ridge.
Fig. 3 shows a variant of the rod 16 in which the teeth 29 are formed by a cut washer fixed to the end of the rod by a screw 32.
The invention is not limited to what is shown in the drawing; in particular, the toothing 29 could in the two cases shown be cylindrical.
