Device for driving a date indicating member in a calendar timepiece The present invention relates to a device for driving a date indicating member in a calendar timepiece, comprising a timing wheel. 24 hours carrying an elastic blade, one end of which, free, has a drive finger capable of engaging the teeth of the indicator member and of actuating this member when the 24 hour wheel turns in one direction and s '' erase in front of said toothing when the 24 hour wheel turns in the other direction, and a retaining element integral with the drive finger and pressing against a stop when the finger is in engagement with the teeth of the indicator member and that the 24 hour wheel turns in the direction of the drive.
Drive devices are already known in which the elastic blade engages via its free end in the teeth of the indicator member and engages a tooth of this member when the 24 hour wheel turns in the direction of the drive. The elasticity of the blade allows its free end to retract in front of the teeth of the indicator member when, to perform a date correction, for example, the 24-hour wheel is rotated in the opposite direction to the normal direction . However, these known devices have a significant drawback: the elastic blade having to be flexible enough to be easily erased, it is subject to buckling, so that, at the time of training, it risks, instead of moving the indicator member. , to deform and to flex outward.
To avoid this drawback, consideration has already been given to placing a stop, for example on the 24-hour wheel, this stop cooperating with a retaining element that the elastic blade has.
The object of the present invention is to remedy the risk of buckling of the elastic blade simply and only by judicious shaping of this blade. For this, the device according to the invention is characterized in that said stopper is formed by a tooth of the indicator member, the retaining element of said elastic blade being shaped so as to rest on the top of said tooth. when the drive finger is engaged with said member.
While provision has already been made, in certain mechanisms, in particular in unidirectional coupling devices, for elastic arms, the end of which, indented, rests on and hooks into the truncated teeth of a pinion, the finger d 'drive of the device according to the invention provides other functions: it clings to a tooth of the indicator member and relies on it so as to drive it, then disengages and follows the path imposed by its rotation with the 24-hour wheel, when it rotates in the normal direction.
The appended drawing represents, by way of example, an embodiment of the device according to the invention.
Fig. 1 is a partial plan view from above. and fig. 2, an axial sectional view.
The device shown in the drawing is part of a calendar wristwatch, the movement of which comprises a plate 1 of circular shape in the center of the upper face of which is placed an hours cannon wheel 2 which pivots on a roadway 3. These two elements pass through an opening 4 made in the center of a dial 5 and respectively carry an hour hand and a minute hand (not shown). An intermediate frame element 6 interposed between the plate 1 and the dial 5 having several cutouts in the form of an arc of a circle such as 7 ensures, by its circular outer side face, the pivoting of a date ring 10 which extends under the edge. outer dial 5.
This date indicator member, of usual shape, has thirty-one teeth 11 of trapezoidal shape along its inner edge. To ensure the training

ment of this ring, the wheel 2 carries, driven on its barrel, an intermediate wheel 12 which is engaged with a 24 hour wheel 13 of double diameter housed in one of the cutouts of the plate 6. This wheel pivots on a screw to bearing 14 engaged in a threaded opening of the plate 1. At its center, it has an iaoyeu 15 on which a disc 16 is driven.
This disc, which can be cut and stamped in a single operation from a circular steel plate, includes: me. central circular part 17 pressed against the wheel 13 and an external part 18 raised at the level of the teeth 11 and from which an elastic arm 19, in an arc of a circle, concentric with the screw 14. The arm 19 describes an arc of approximately 180 - around the center of the disc 16.
In the vicinity of its free end, this arm 19 also has an enlarged portion of triangular shape 21 which extends outwardly and which forms a drive finger for the ring 10. The disc 16 can be cut to the shape shown in the drawing. As seen in fig. 1, the triangular finger 21 engages in the path of the teeth 11 of the ring 10. The wheel 12 rotating clockwise, in FIG. 1, the 24-hour wheel 13 rotates counterclockwise, so that when the finger 21 abuts one of the teeth 11 while turning in its normal direction of rotation, the free end (the elastic blade 19 which has a reinforced extension 22 engages on the top of tooth 11 with which finger 21 engages.
The element 22 constitutes a stop which rests against the top of the tooth 11 preventing the arm 19 from flexing outwards, which causes the ring 10 to be driven in the counterclockwise direction.
When the wheel 13 is driven in the clockwise direction by the wheel 12, the finger 21 moves radially towards the axis of the wheel 13 by moving aside and slides on the tooth 11.
The device described has the great advantage of allowing the position of the date ring to be corrected by an alternating movement of the winding crown brought to the time-setting position, an alternating movement having an amplitude of two to three hours. It is therefore not necessary to make the hour hand go through two complete revolutions to advance the date disc by one step, as is the case with drive devices in which the drive finger is rigidly attached to the 24-hour wheel.
