Winding crown for clockwork movement. Crowns are already known for watch cases without tubes, having a movable sealing member placed around the barrel of the crown and intended to come into contact with the case under the action of a spring, so as to close the passage of the remon toir rod and thus prevent, for example, dust or other matter; to infiltrate the. box through this opening.
In known crowns, the movable sealing member is generally metallic. Sometimes, it is provided at its base with a thin ron delle in flexible material, intended to form a seal between the metal shutter and the box.
The thinness of this seal does not allow it to match the shape of the box and if we want to obtain a suitable seal, it is necessary to make s <izbir boxes which do not have a flat surface, at the limit of the opening for the remon toir rod, an operation such as turning or milling, intended to create this surface.
On the other hand, the known crowns with a positive movable obturation device do not present. not a seal between the movable seal and the casing of the crown, but simply make the infiltration of dust into the watch more difficult in the sense that this passage along the barrel forms more or less a labyrinth.
The object of the present invention is to remedy these drawbacks.
To this end, the crown which is the subject of it comprises an internal recess in which is housed a spring surrounding a barrel of tiné to be connected to the winding stem, and is characterized in that it comprises a sealing member flexible and elastic, disposed elastically on the barrel, this member being subjected to the action of the spring which pushes it towards the free end of the barrel.
The attached drawing shows, schematically and by way of example, one embodiment of the object of the invention.
Fig. 1 shows the crown in the winding position and fig. 2 in the time setting position.
The courpnne 1 has an internal recess 2 in which a spring 3 is housed by turning a threaded barrel 6 screwed onto the winding rod 10. This spring bears, on the one hand, on the bottom of the recess 2 and , on the other hand, on a rigid washer 4 neck axially smoothing in this recess on the edge of which is. mounted a second ron delle 5 serving as a stop for the first to prevent it from coming out of the crown.
On the barrel 6 is disposed a sealing member 7 of annular shape, made of flexible and elastic material, for example natural or synthetic rubber. This member 7 exerts a radial elastic pressure on the barrel and is subjected to an axial pressure by the spring 3 which pushes it towards the free end of the barrel 6 and applies it against the middle part 9 of the watch case.
As can be seen in the drawing, in the relaxed position, the inner wall 8 of the ring 7 is curved in axial section, so as not to produce an exaggerated pressure on the barrel 6 when the ring is compressed axially. .
The watch case is thus watertight at the point where it is crossed by the winding stem 10, while allowing the crown to easily rotate, both in the winding position and in the setting position. 'hour. .
