Winding and time-setting mechanism for a watch movement. The present invention relates to a winding and time-setting mechanism for a timepiece movement.
This mechanism is characterized in that the pull tab pivots freely on a stud screwing into the plate, operating means being provided at each end of said stud to allow the latter to be moved axially by screwing into the plate, in order to release the winding stem of the grip of the zipper in its throat, this maneuver can therefore be done either from the dial side or. from the bridge side of the movement.
The appended drawing represents, by way of example, two embodiments of the mechanism which is the subject of the invention. Only what is necessary for the understanding of the invention has been shown in the drawing.
Fig. 1 is a sectional view of the. first embodiment.
Figs. 2 to 5 show separately, in section, the different parts constituting the device of FIG. 1.
Fig. 6 is a sectional view of the second embodiment.
In the drawing, 1 represents the plate, the upper part of which is turned towards the side of the dial, the lower part being on the side of the bridges of the movement. The number 2 designates the pull tab or lock, pivoting freely on a stud 3 screwing into the. platinum 1; a tenon 4 is driven into the stud 3.
Elements 1 to 4 forming the device of the. fig. 1 are shown separately in fig. 2 to 5. The plate 1 has a ta raudé hole 5 surmounted, on the dial side, by a recess 6. The pivoting stud 3 (fig. 3) comprises a part 7 threaded on the right, the pitch of which corresponds to that of the tapping of the plate 1, this part 7 having at its end a screw slot 8. If the stud 3 is presented against the plate 1 on the mechanism side and that it is rotated counterclockwise from the other side by means of a screwdriver engaged in slot 8, stud 3.
will be screwed into plate 1, its bearing 9 resting against the bottom of the recess 6; it will thus be permanently fixed in plate 1.
The upper part of the stud 3 has a blind hole 10, the diameter of which is hardly less than that of the shank of the tenon 4, so that said tenon can be driven out in this hole 10 and thus ensure a solid assembly of the parts 3, 4.
Before inserting the stud 3 into the plate 1, the zipper 2 is freely adjusted in its upper part, then the tenon 4 is driven out into the hole 10. The zipper 2 can therefore turn freely on the plate around the stud 3 , while being one with the whole.
The device described and shown works as follows: The zipper 2 is maintained at its pivoting height by the two members 3 and 4. As the free end of the pin 4 is also split (number 11), it is possible to intervene by means of 'a screwdriver on one side or the other to move the spindle 2 away from the plate 1, and therefore from the re-mounting rod (not shown), by a rotation in the desired direction of the stud. 3. This frees the winding stem from the grip of the zipper in its throat.
The upper part of the stud 3 is amin cie cone in 1? and the head of tenon 4 is pitted at 1.3, which has the effect of driving out tenon 4 on the stud. 3, close the tubular end of stud 3 and increase the adhesion of post 4.
Instead of being cylindrical, the rod of te no 4 could have any other desired shape; it could for example be poly gonal, the hole 10 of the stud 3 having a corresponding shape. The purpose of this arrangement is to prevent the tenon 4 from rotating relative to the stud 3.
The embodiment shown in FIG. 6 differs from the first in that the pivot pin 14 is not drilled in its upper part, but it ends with a frustoconical part 15 split at 16, on which a washer 17 is fitted with an eagle tail. The washer 17 may optionally be fen due to facilitate its installation.
Thanks to the invention, it is therefore possible to free the winding stem from the grip of the pull tab while operating. indifferently from either side of the movement, unlike what currently exists where we only act from the side of the bridges. This new arrangement gives possibilities for new realizations in the. way of fixing movements in watch cases.
