Description

  

  Verfahren zur Herstellung eines neuen Derivates einer     kernsubstituierten          aromatisehen        Oxyverbindung.       Es wurde     gefunden,    dass man zu einem  neuen Derivat einer     kernsubstituierten    aro  matischen     Oxyverbindung    gelangt, wenn  man das Kondensationsprodukt aus     techni-          i        schem        Stearinsäure    - N -     methylolamid    und  Phenol mit Formaldehyd und     Diäthanolamin     kondensiert.  



  Die Kondensation wird zweckmässig in  der Wärme, z. B, bei     60-100 ,    ausgeführt.  Das neue Erzeugnis bildet eine feste, an  nähernd farblose Masse, die nach dem Lösen  in Eisessig beim     Verdünnen    mit heissem  Wasser eine klare Lösung liefert. Es kann  als     Textilhilfsstoff,    z. B. als     Weichmachungs-          mittel,        Anwendung    finden.  



  <I>Beispiel:</I>  Man vermischt 18,7 Teile des Kondensa  tionsproduktes aus     Stearinsäure-N-methylol-          amid    (aus technischer     Stearinsäure)    und aus  Phenol mit 5,8 Teilen     Diäthanolamin,    lässt  4,1     Volumteile    40,4     volumprozentige        wässrige          Formaldehydlösung    innert 3 Stunden bei  Raumtemperatur     hinzufliessen    und     erwärmt     anschliessend 3 Stunden auf 85-90 .

   Nach  dem Waschen mit heissem Wasser bildet das  getrocknete Kondensationserzeugnis eine feste,         annähernd    farblose Masse, die nach dem  Lösen in Eisessig beim Verdünnen mit  heissem Wasser eine klare Lösung liefert. Es  kann als     Textilhilfsstoff,    z. B.     als        Weich-          machungsmittel,    Anwendung finden.

PATENTANSPRUCII Verfahren zur Herstellung eines neuen Derivates einer kernsubstituierten aromati schen Oxyverbindung, dadurch gekennzeich net, dass man das Kondensationsprodukt aus technischem Stearinsäure - N - methylolamid und Phenol mit Formaldehyd und Diäthanol- amin kondensiert. Das neue Erzeugnis bildet eine feste, an nähernd farblose Masse, die nach dem Lösen in Eisessig beim Verdünnen mit heissem Wasser eine klare Lösung liefert. Es kann als Textilhilfsstoff, z.
