Description
Verfahren zurr Herstellung eines neuen Monoazofarbstoffes. Die vorliegende Erfindung bezieht sich auf ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines neuen sauren Monoazofarbstoffes, welcher dadurch erhalten wird, dass man 4-Amino-l- N-äthyl-omega-chlorpropionanilid diazotiert und anter nicht sauren Bedingungen die so erhaltene Diazoverbindung mit Natrium-2- äthylamino-8-naphthol-6-suHonat kuppelt.
Die Erfindung wird durch das nach stelende Beispiel erläutert. Die Teile bedeu- t,:n Gewichtsteile. <I>Beispiel:</I> 22,65 Teile 4-Amino-l-N-äthyl-omega- chlorpropionanilid werden in einem aus 300 Teilen Wasser und 25 Teilen 36%iger Salz säure bestehenden Gemisch gelöst und hierauf mit 6,9 Teilen Natriumnitrit versetzt.
Die so erhaltene Diazolösung wird erforderlichen falls filtriert und bei 5-10 C in eine ähn lich gekühlte Lösung von 29 Teilen Natrium- 2-äthylamino-8-naphthol-6-sulfonat in 600 Teilen Wasser, enthaltend 21 Teile wasser- freies Natriumcarbonat, eingerührt. Die Kupplung vollzieht sich rasch;
nach beende ter Kupplung gibt man 80 Teile Natrium- chlorid hinzu. Nach mehrstündigem Rühren des Gemisches wird der neue Farbstoff ab filtriert, mit 5%iger Natriumchloridlösung gewaschen und getrocknet.
Der neue Farbstoff stellt ein dunkel braunes Pulver dar, welches in Wasser unter Bildung einer rötlichbraunen Lösung und in konzentrierter Schwefelsäure unter Bildung einer gelblichroten Lösung löslich ist. Er färbt Wolle aus einem Schwefel säure und Glaubersalz enthaltenden Färbe bade in braunen Farbtönen von guter Echt heit gegen starkes Waschen, Walken und Licht.
