Description
Verfahren zur Herstellung eines neuen Nonoazofarbstofes. Gegenstand vorliegender Erfindung ist ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines neuen Mono azofarbstoffes.
Erfindungsgemäss wird der neue Monoazo- farbstoff dadurch erhalten, dass man 2-N- Äthyl-N-ss-chlorpropionylamino-4-aminotoluol diazotiert und die erhaltene Diazoverbindung mit 2-Acetylamino-5-naphthol-7-sulfonsäure kuppelt.
Der neue Farbstoff bildet ein helles, schar lachrotes Pulver, welches in Wasser unter Bildung einer rötlichorangenen Lösung und in konzentrierter Schwefelsäure unter Bildung einer bläulichroten Lösung löslich ist. Der neue Farbstoff färbt Wolle aus einem Schwefel säure und Glaubersalz enthaltenden Färbe bad in hellen, rötlichorangenen Farbtönen. Die erzielten Färbungen zeichnen sich durch gute Echtheitseigenschaften gegen starkes Waschen, Walken und gegen Lichteinwir kung aus.
Die Erfindung sei durch das nachstehende Beispiel erläutert, worin- die Teile Gewichts teile bedeuten. Beispiel: 24 Teile 2-N-Äthyl-N-ss-chlorpropionyl- amino-4-aminotoluol werden in einem 350 Teile Wasser und 25 Teile 36 o/oiger Salz säure enthaltenden Gemisch gelöst und die erhaltene Lösung hierauf bei 5-10o C mit 6,9 Teilen Natriumnitrit versetzt.
Die auf diese Weise erhaltene Lösung der Diazover- bindung wird langsam unter Rühren in eine auf 5-10o C gekühlte Lösung von 30,5 Tei len des Natriumsalzes der 2-Acetylamino-5- naphthol-7-sulfonsäure und 28 Teilen kristal lisiertes Natriumacetat in 400 Teilen Wasser eingetragen. Nach vollständiger Kupplung fügt man 40 Teile Natriumchlorid hinzu. Der so ausgefällte Farbstoff wird abfiltriert, mit 5 /oiger Kochsalzlösung gewaschen und ge trocknet.

According to the invention, the new monoazo dye is obtained by diazotizing 2-N-ethyl-N-ss-chloropropionylamino-4-aminotoluene and coupling the diazo compound obtained with 2-acetylamino-5-naphthol-7-sulfonic acid.
The new dye forms a pale, sharp, laugh-red powder which is soluble in water to form a reddish-orange solution and in concentrated sulfuric acid to form a bluish-red solution. The new dye dyes wool from a dye bath containing sulfuric acid and Glauber's salt in light, reddish-orange shades. The dyeings obtained are characterized by good fastness properties against heavy washing, fulling and against the effects of light.
The invention is illustrated by the following example, in which the parts mean parts by weight. Example: 24 parts of 2-N-ethyl-N-ss-chloropropionyl-amino-4-aminotoluene are dissolved in a mixture containing 350 parts of water and 25 parts of 36% hydrochloric acid, and the resulting solution is then added at 5-10oC 6.9 parts of sodium nitrite were added.
The solution of the diazo compound obtained in this way is slowly stirred into a solution, cooled to 5-10o C, of 30.5 parts of the sodium salt of 2-acetylamino-5-naphthol-7-sulfonic acid and 28 parts of crystallized sodium acetate in 400 parts of water entered. When the coupling is complete, 40 parts of sodium chloride are added. The dyestuff precipitated in this way is filtered off, washed with 5% sodium chloride solution and dried.
