Description
Verfahren zur Herstellung eines neuen Monoazofarbstoffes. Vorliegende Erfindung betrifft die Her stellung eines neuen 1VTo.noazofarbstoffes, welcher Wolle in gelblich-orangefarbenen Tönen von ausgezeichneter Wasch- und Wallechtheit und sehr guter Lichtbeständig- digkeit färbt.
Gemäss vorliegendem Verfahren wird -der Farbstoff hergestellt durch Kuppeln von dianotiertem Dodecy l-m-aminobenzoat mit 2-Naphtol-6 : 8-disulfosäure. <I>Beispiel:</I> 30,5 Gewichtsteile Dodecyl-m-aminoben- zoat, suspendiert in 250, Gewichtsteilen Was ser und 26Gewichtsteilen 316%iger Salz säure, werden durch Hinzufügen von 7 Ge wichtsteilen Natriumnitrit dianotiert.
Die so erhaltene Diazosuspension wird dann zu einer wässerigen Lösung von 30,5 Gewichts- teilen 2-Naphtol-6:8-disulfosäure gesetzt, die man während des Zusetzens mit Soda gegen Lackmus alkalisch hält.
Der Farb stoff wird, nöti.genfall;s nach voraufgegange nem Aussalzen, abfiltriert und als Paste auf bewahrt, oder auf irgendeine geeignete Weise getrocknet.
Trocken, bildet er ein rötlich-orangefarbenes Pulver, welches, mit heissem Wasser eine rötlichgelbe Lösung und mit konzentrierter Schwefelsäure eine gelbe Lösung gibt.
Er färbt Wolle aus 2 Ammonazetat enthaltendem Bade in gelblich orangefarbenen Tönen von ausgezeichneter Wasch- und Walkeehtheit und sehr guter Lichtbeständigkeit.
Process for the preparation of a new monoazo dye. The present invention relates to the manufacture of a new 1VTo.noazo dye, which dyes wool in yellowish-orange shades of excellent washing and whitening properties and very good lightfastness.
According to the present process, the dye is prepared by coupling dianotized dodecyl-m-aminobenzoate with 2-naphthol-6: 8-disulfonic acid. <I> Example: </I> 30.5 parts by weight of dodecyl-m-aminobenzoate, suspended in 250 parts by weight of water and 26 parts by weight of 316% hydrochloric acid, are dianotized by adding 7 parts by weight of sodium nitrite.
The diazo suspension thus obtained is then added to an aqueous solution of 30.5 parts by weight of 2-naphthol-6: 8-disulfonic acid, which is kept alkaline against litmus with soda during the addition.
If necessary, after salting out, the dye is filtered off and stored as a paste, or dried in any suitable manner.
When dry, it forms a reddish-orange powder which, with hot water, gives a reddish-yellow solution and with concentrated sulfuric acid a yellow solution.
It dyes wool from baths containing 2 ammonium acetate in yellowish-orange shades of excellent washing and milled fastness and very good lightfastness.
