Description
Verfahren zur Herstellung eines neuen Nonoazofarbstoffes. Vorliegende Erfindung betrifft die Her stellung eines neuen Monoazofarbstoffes, welcher auf Wolle lebhaft orangegelbe Töne von ausgezeichneter Wasch- und Walkec11t- heit und sehr guter Lichtbeständigkeit er zeugt.
Gemäss vorliegendem Verfahren wird der Farbstoff hergestellt durch Kuppeln von diazotiertem Dodecyl-p-aminobenzoat mit 2- Naphtol-,6 :
8-disulfosäure. <I>Beispiel:</I> 80,5 Gewichtsteile Dodecyl - p - amino- benzoat (Smp. 77 bis<B>78'</B> C) werden als Suspension in 250 Gewichtsteilen Wasser und 2,6 Gewichtsteilen 86%iger Salzsäure durch Hinzufügen von 7 Gewichtsteilen Natriumnitrit @diazotiert. Die so erhaltene Diazosuspension wird dann zu einer wässe rigen Lösung von 30,
5 Gewichtsteilen: 2. Naphtol-6 :8-disulfosäure .gesetzt, die man während des Zusetzens mit Soda gegen Lack mus alkalisch hält. Der Farbstoff wird nötigenfalls nach voraufgegangenem Aus salzen, erbfiltriert und entweder als Paste aufbewahrt, oder auf irgendeine passende Weise getrocknet.
Trocken bildet er ein röt- lichorangefarbenes Pulver, welches mit Was ser oder mit konzentrierter .Schwefelsäure eine orangegelbe Lösung ,gibt. Er färbt Wolle aus 2,% Ammonazetat enthaltendem Bade in lebhaft orangegelben Tönen von aus gezeichneter Wasch- und Walkechtheit und sehr guter Lichtbeständigkeit.

5 parts by weight: 2. Naphthol-6: 8-disulfonic acid, which is kept alkaline against lacquer during the addition of soda. The dye is, if necessary, salted out beforehand, filtered and either stored as a paste or dried in any convenient way.
When dry, it forms a reddish orange powder which, when mixed with water or with concentrated sulfuric acid, gives an orange-yellow solution. It dyes wool from a bath containing 2.0% ammonium acetate in lively orange-yellow shades of excellent wash and milled fastness and very good lightfastness.
