Description

  

  Verfahren zur Herstellung eines neuen     1Vlonoazofarbstoffes.       Vorliegende Erfindung betrifft die Her  stellung eines neuen     Monoazofarbstoffes,    wel  cher auf Wolle gelbe Töne von sehr guter  Widerstandsfähigkeit gegen starke Beanspru  chung durch Waschen, Walken und Licht  erzeugt.  



  Gemäss vorliegendem Verfahren wird der  Farbstoff hergestellt durch Kuppeln von     diazo-          tiertem        Dodecyl-p-amino-benzoat    mit     1-(4'-          Sulfophenyl)-3-methyl-5-pyrazolon.       <I>Beispiel:

  </I>    30,5 Gewichtsteile     Dodecyl-p-aminobenzoat          (Smp.77-780    C), suspendiert in<B>250</B> Gewichts  teilen Wasser und 26 Gewichtsteilen     360joiger     Salzsäure, werden durch Zusetzen von 7 Ge  wichtsteilen     Natriumnitrit        diazotiert.    Die so  erhaltene     Diazosuspension    fügt man zu einer  eiskalten, wässerigen Lösung von 25,4 Ge  wichtsteilen     1-(4'-Sulfophenyl)-3-methyl-5-          pyrazolon,    welche während des     Zusetzens    mit    Soda alkalisch gehalten wird.

   Nachdem die  Kupplung vollendet ist, erhitzt man das  Gemisch auf<B>500</B> C, salzt mit     20'/o    Koch  salz (Gewicht für Volumen) aus; kühlt auf       16-200    C ab und filtriert den Farbstoff ab.  Nach Auswaschen mit 15     o/oigem    Salzwasser  wird der     Farbstoffteig    entweder als solcher  aufbewahrt, oder     getrocknet.    In trockenem  Zustande bildet der neue     Far'astoff    ein gelbes  Pulver, welches sich in heissem, etwas Soda  enthaltendem Wasser mit gelber Farbe löst  und mit konzentrierter Schwefelsäure eine       grünlichgelbe    Lösung gibt.

   Er färbt Wolle       aus        2%        Ammonazetat        entha        tendem        Bade     in gelben Tönen, welche starkem Waschen  und Walken, sowie dem Licht sehr gut  widerstehen.
