Beispiel: Man löst in 300.
Process for the preparation of a tetrakisazo dye. It has been found that a new tetrakisazo dye is obtained if the diamino compound, which is obtainable by saponifying the disazo dye, which is itself obtainable by combining 1-diazo-4-acetylaminobenzene with 2-amino-8-oxynaphthalene- 6-sulfonic acid in an alkaline medium,
Further diazotization of the coupling product and combination with 1-aminonaphthalene-6-sulfonic acid, tetrazotized and combined with 2 mol of 1,3-dioxybenzene.
The new dye forms a dark, bronzing powder that dissolves in water with violet color, in concentrated sulfuric acid with blue color. The dye dyes cotton in blue tones. After treating the direct dyeings. with 4-nitrodiazobenzene, greenish-black shades of good washing fastness and very good etchability are created. Example: You solve in 300.
Parts of water, with the addition of 30 parts of sodium carbonate, 23.9 parts of 2-amino-8-oxynaphthalene-6-sulfonic acid. To this solution is added one which has been prepared by diazotizing 15.0 parts of 1-amino-4-acetaminobenzene. After several hours of stirring, the coupling mixture is neutralized with hydrochloric acid, a solution of 6.9 parts of sodium nitrite is added and 28 parts of 30% hydrochloric acid are added at 15.
After 1 to 11/2 hours, a solution of 22.3. Parts of 1-aminonaphthalene-6-sulfonic acid in 300 parts of water with the addition of 13.5 parts of 30% strength sodium hydroxide solution are stirred into the diazotization mixture mixed with ice so that the temperature does not rise above 20.
The coupling mixture is then rendered Congo neutral by adding 20% strength sodium acetate solution. When the coupling has ended after 5 to 6 hours, the mixture is heated to 60 and the disazo dye is filtered off. The pressed dye is stirred up again with 1400 parts of water, heated to boiling, mixed with 220 parts of 30% strength sodium hydroxide solution and kept at the boil for 1 to 11/2 hours with stirring.
It is then neutralized with hydrochloric acid, cooled to 15, the diaminodisazo dye solution is mixed with a solution of 13.8 parts of sodium nitrite and 55 parts of 3.0% hydrochloric acid and stirred at 15 for 11/2 to 2 hours.
The suspension obtained in this way is stirred into a solution which contains 22.0 parts of 1,3-dioxybenzene and 60 parts of sodium carbonate in 300 parts of water. The mixture is stirred for a few hours at room temperature, after which the precipitated dye can be filtered easily.
