Additional patent to main patent no. 226015. Process for the production of a tetraldsazo dye. It has been found that a new tetrakisazo dye is obtained if the diamino compound, which is obtainable by saponifying the disazo dye, is obtained:
Elderly is by combining 4-diazophenyloxamic acid with 1-Amino@-5-.oxynaphth, alin-7-sulfonic, acid in an alkaline medium, Weiberdiazotierung the coupling product and combining with 1-aminonaphthalene, tetrazotized and combined with 2 moles of 1,3-dioxybenzene.
The new dye forms a dark, bronzing powder that dissolves in water with a red-violet color and in concentrated sulfuric acid with a blue color. The dye dyes cotton in violet tones.
After treating the direct dyeings with 4-nitrodiazobenzene, brown-black shades of good washfastness and very good itchability are created.
Example: 2.3.9 parts of 1-amino-5-oxyniaphthalene-7-sulfonic acid are dissolved in 300 parts of water, with the addition of 30 parts of sodium carbonate. To this solution is added one which has been prepared by diazotizing 18.0 parts of 4-aminophenylo @ gaminic acid.
After several hours of stirring, the coupling mixture is neutralized with hydrochloric acid, a solution of 6.9 parts of sodium nitrite is added and, at 15, 28 parts of hydrochloric acid (30%) are toppled. After 1 to 11/2 hours, by dissolving 14,
3 parts of 1-aminonaphthalene in 300 parts of water with the addition of 13 parts of 30% strength hydrochloric acid solution are stirred into the diazotization mixture mixed with ice,
@that the temperature does not rise above 20. Then the coupling mixture is rendered Congo-neutral by adding 20% sodium acetate solution. If the coupling has ended after 30 to 40 hours,
is heated to 60 and the disazo-farbatoff erbfiltered. The powdered dye is stirred up again with 1400 parts of water, heated to boiling, mixed with 220 parts of 30% sodium hydroxide solution and stirred for 1 to 11/2 hours in the Si: e:
The obtained, then neutralized with hydrochloric acid, cooled to 15, the diamino-disazofa: rind solution with a solution of 13,
8 parts of sodium nitrite and 55 parts of salicic acid of 307o vssrmisiclit and stirred at 15 for 11 / u to 2 hours. The suspension thus obtained is stirred into a solution containing 22.0 parts of 1 in 300 parts of water.
Contains 3-diogybenzene and 60 parts of sodium carbonate. The mixture is stirred for a few hours at room temperature, then carefully neutralized. the largest part of the alkali carbonate with hydrochloric acid and filtered.
