Description

  

  Verfahren zur Herstellung eines neuen Kondensationsproduktes.    Es wurde gefunden, dass man zu einem  neuen Kondensationsprodukt gelangt, wenn  man     Laurinsäuremethylolamid    in Gegenwart  einer Säure mit     Glycerinmercaptan    umsetzt.  



  Die Umsetzung wird zweckmässig in Ge  genwart eines Lösungsmittels, wie Eisessig,       Dioxan,    vorgenommen. Als Säure kann bei  spielsweise Salzsäure, Schwefelsäure, Essig  säure Anwendung finden.  



  Das neue     Kondensationsprodukt    ist eine  weiche, in Wasser lösliche Masse und kann  als     Textilhilfsstoff    verwendet werden.  



  <I>Beispiel:</I>  7,7 Gewichtsteile     Laurinsäuremethylol-          amid    werden in 70 Volumenteilen     Dioxan     gelöst. Hierauf werden 4,0 Gewichtsteile       Glycerinmercaptan    zugegeben und unter Eis  kühlung 7 Volumenteile konzentrierte Schwe  felsäure unter Rühren     zugetropft.    Nach dem  Stehen über Nacht bei gewöhnlicher Tempe  ratur wird unter Eiskühlung mit Natronlauge  vorsichtig neutralisiert und im Vakuum bei    50-60   zur Trockne verdampft. Nach dem  Ausziehen mit absolutem Alkohol, Verdampfen  des letzteren und Auswaschen mit wenig  Äther wird das neue Produkt als weiche, in  Wasser lösliche Masse erhalten.

Then 4.0 parts by weight of glycerol mercaptan are added and, while cooling with ice, 7 parts by volume of concentrated sulfuric acid are added dropwise with stirring. After standing overnight at normal temperature, it is carefully neutralized with sodium hydroxide solution while cooling with ice and evaporated to dryness in vacuo at 50-60. After soaking in absolute alcohol, evaporating the latter and washing it out with a little ether, the new product is obtained as a soft, water-soluble mass.

PATENTANSPRÜCA: Verfahren zur Herstellung eines neuen Kondensationsproduktes, dadurch gekenn zeichnet, dass man Laurinsäuremethylolanüid in Gegenwart .einer Säure mit Glycerinmer- eaptan umsetzt. Das neue Kondensationsprodukt ist eine weiche, in Wasser lösliche Masse und kann als Textilhilfsstoff verwendet werden. UNTERANSPRUCH: Verfahren nach Patentanspruch, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man in Gegenwart eines Lösungsmittels arbeitet. .
