  <B>Zusatzpatent</B> zum Hauptpatent Nr.<B>165155.</B>    Verfahren zur Herstellung eines metallhaltigen Farbstoffes.    Es wurde gefunden, dass man einen me  tallhaltigen     Farbstoff    durch Behandeln des       Azofarbstoffes    aus     diazotiertem        4-Chlor-2-          amino-l-phenol    und     2.4-Dioxychinolin    mit  chromabgebenden Mitteln in alkalischem Me  dium erhalten kann, wenn diese Behandlung  in Gegenwart von Salzen der Zuckersäure  erfolgt.  



  Der erhaltene chromhaltige Farbstoff stellt  ein braunrotes     Pulver    dar, das in Wasser  sehr schwer, in organischen Lösungsmitteln  leicht mit     bordeauxroter    Farbe löslich ist.  Aras     Nitro-    oder     Acetylzelluloselacklösungen     erhält man Überzüge von braunroter Farbe.  <I>Beispiel:</I>  6,30 Teile des Farbstoffes aus     diazotier-          tem        4-Chlor-2-amino-l-phenol    und     2.4-Dioxy-          chinolin    werden in 500 Teilen Wasser und  2,7 Teilen 30     o/oiger    Natronlauge aufgekocht.

    Hierauf versetzt man mit einer Lösung aus  11,8 Teilen     Chromisulfat,    15,0 Teilen     zucker-          saurern    Kalium     (CoH90sK),    60 Teilen Wasser    und 24 Teilen 30     o/oiger    Natronlauge und  kocht während 15 Stunden am     Rückfluss.     Nach dem Neutralisieren mit Essigsäure wird  der Farbstoff filtriert, ausgewaschen und bei  mässiger Temperatur getrocknet.

PATENTANSPRUCH: Verfahren zur Herstellung eines metall haltigen Farbstoffes durch Behandeln des Azofarbstoffes aus diazotiertem 4-Chlor-2- amino-l-phenol und 2.4-Dioxychinolin mit chromabgebenden Mitteln in alkalischem Me dium, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass diese Behandlung in Gegenwart von Salzen der Zuckersäure erfolgt. Der erhaltene chromhaltige Farbstoff stellt ein braunrotes Pulver dar, das in Wasser sehr schwer, in organischen Lösungsmitteln leicht mit bordeauxroter Farbe löslich ist. Aus Nitro- oder Acetylzelluloselacklösungen erhält man Überzüge von braunroter Farbe.
