Bobinoir.
Winder. The present invention relates to a winder for bottle reels, in which it is the unwinders or windings which are controlled so as to rotate at variable speed, instead of the spindles. This arrangement results in: 1 a major simplification in construction, 2 a noticeable reduction in the use of motive power and 3 an increase in efficiency.
According to the invention, the unwinders are combined with a brake governed, by the intermediary of an elastic means, by the or ganes which cause the yarn guides to move up and down in front of the reels -bottles so that the brake is gradually applied or released as the yarn guides move up and down to adjust the rotational movement of the reels, with the aim of maintaining equal yarn winding tension in all regions of the cone of the spools without variation the speed of rotation of the spool pins.
The appended drawing represents, schematically and by way of example, an embodiment of the object of the invention.
Fig. 1 is a side view; Figs. 2, 3 and 4 show details. 9. is the winder bench on which stand the uprights B serving as supports for the axis C of the reels D (of which one can see only one in the drawing). E is the bar of the yarn guides e arranged to perform an alternating upward and downward movement facing the rotating spindles f with invariable rotational movement. Under these conditions, the bar of the thread guides rising for example, there would be a release of the tension of the thread winding on the spools engaged on the pins, if a device capable of regulating this tension had not been provided. winding.
This device consists, for each reel, of a brake arranged to act on the axis C of the reel D and comprising a braking yoke ar ticulated in ml and able to sit astride the axis C of the reel, this yoke of braking being connected by a rod n, with the interposition of a tension spring o, to a strap p winding up and fixing itself on a pulley q. This pulley is integral with a coaxial pulley r with a larger diameter and from which a strap s passing over a reference t, to connect at 2c to the bar E of the wire guides. The connection of the rod n with the braking yoke in is established by means of a slide v provided on the latter and in which can slide the upper end of the rod n, provided with a rolling roller n1.
In operation, the braking yoke m, which is lined with leather, rests on the axis of the reel, see fig. 2. As the bar E of the thread guides rises, it transmits through the differential pulleys q, r and the spring o an elastic tensile force on the rod n, this tensile force gradually increasing to produce more and more tightening. more intense of the braking yoke m in order to moderate the rotation of the reel according to the reduction in the successive diameters of the cone of the reel,
which has the effect of keeping the winding tension of the wire on the spool, the speed of rotation of which is uniform, equal. A, the next lowering of the wire guide bar, the spring o relaxes and allows the progressive loosening of the braking yoke, to release the reel which will thus be able to obey the call more and more freely. of wire by the spool.
The rod -a is provided with means allowing both to adjust the initial tension of the spring c. For this purpose, it is established in two distinct parts joined together by a pressure screw sleeve al.
The braking yoke can be replaced by any other suitable braking device. It can be raised around its articulation axis m 'to the position shown in FIG. 3 to allow removal of the wire feeder. The relative displacement movement of the yarn guides e relative to their support bar E is nothing special; it simply serves to bring the son guides little by little to the desired position in order to wind the wire on the pins in superposed conical layers, as is moreover well known.
The construction described above is simple and is. proven practical in use.
