Advanced twisting machine. The present invention relates to an improved twisting machine which is characterized in that each of the pins is independent of the corresponding pulley, the connection of these two members taking place by means of a coupling device, and in that it comprises, for each pin, a trigger device which is normally in the engaged position and which is automatically triggered by the.
breakage or loosening of the wire, respectively of at least one of the wires intended to form the corresponding strand, this triggering device being arranged so as to produce, when it is triggered, the uncoupling of the spindle from its respective pulley, in order to obtain. the stopping of the spindle, and the release of the pressure roller of the corresponding driving torque, the whole in order to avoid any loss of thread due to the winding of this one. here on the pressure roller and obtain a wire of uniform structure. The accompanying drawing shows schematically, by way of example, one embodiment of the machine.
Fig. 1 shows the device for automatic triggering of a spindle; Fig. 2 .is a cut of the spindle; Fig. 3 shows the separate pad of this pin.
1. Is the support frame for pins 2. 3 is the frame on which the headers or supports (not shown) of rollers 4 and 5 are mounted.
The pressure roller 5 is supported by one end of an angled lever 6 which is voted at 7, and which, by its opposite end 8, normally rests on a stop 9 which has a part 9 'capable of rotating. around an axis 10. This part 9 'is traversed vertically through a hole in which is: mounted a thread guide 11, through which passes the thread which, coming from the spool, will end up in the rollers of drive 4 and 5. The mentioned thread guide is arranged above a part which forms fins or arms 12, mounted on an axis 13, which extends along the machine and which rotates continuously as long as that - this is in function.
Its rotation takes place in the direction of clockwise on fig. 1.
The lever 6-8 is connected by articulation, by means of a connecting rod 14, to another lever 15 whose axis of rotation is at 16 and which, by one of its ends, forms a fork 17 which acts on the conical coupling of the spindle with the corre sponding pulley 18 receiving the movement. Said. the lever 15, by the end opposite the fork 17, is connected by articulation, by means of the connecting rod 18 ', to a lever 19 pivoted at 20. We act by hand on said lever 19 for starting - of each pin, as will be indicated later.
In addition, the lever 15 is subjected to the action of a tension spring 21, through the intermediary of a connecting rod 22 and a pivoted arm 23 whose axis of rotation is at 24, on a support 25 integral with the frame 3 of @a machine.
The operation of this device takes place as follows. When the machine is operating normally, the assembly described remains arranged as shown in the drawings, that is to say that the thread which passes through the thread guide 11 keeps the latter raised, so that part 12 can rotate freely.
If the aforesaid thread breaks or slackens, the thread guide 11 falls and one of the fins of the part 12 hits it and causes the displacement of the part 9 'around the axis 10, which has for effect of disengaging the end 8 of the lever 6-8 from the stop 9, which, by the action of the spring 21, changes the position of the entire articulated system, so that the lever 15-17 lifts the spindle 2 which then separates from the pulley 18 and therefore stops, and at the same time the lever 6-8 lifts the pressure roller 5 which loses its contact with the lower roller 4.
After having reattached the broken wire, to restart the spindle, it suffices to act with your hand on the lever 19 so that, thus counteracting the action of the spring 21, the entire articulated system resumes its function. primitive position in which it is. kept engaged by the cooperation of the end 8 -du lever 6-8 and the stop 9 of the part 9 '.
As has already been said, the axis 13 extends along the machine and rotates in a uniform manner as long as the latter is in operation. On this same axis are mounted as many parts 12 as there are spindles in the machine, and there T; Likewise has a 9 'part for each of these pins.
In the event that the machine would be arranged to simultaneously perform the doubling and twisting operations, there would be in a part 9 'as many thread guide 11 as there are threads to be joined together, which would be brought together by passing through through a fixed thread guide 26 suitably disposed in front of the pair of rollers 4-5. Therefore, if any one of the wires to be joined together breaks, the corresponding pin stop will also be obtained as shown in detail.
In fig. 2, the movement receiving pulley 18 is independent of the spindle and is freely mounted on an extension 27 formed by the support 28 of the spindle. Said pulley is extended by its upper part in a frustoconical body 29 on which fits another part 30, hollow of corresponding interior surface and which is integral with the spindle 2. This part 30 has an annular groove 31 on the outside. which engages the fork 17 of the automatic release mechanism described above, above. In addition, the pulley 18 is retained in the direction of its axis by a part 32 (FIG. 1).
To get the. lubrication of pulley 11? on the extension 27 of the part 28 on which it turns, the spindle 2, on its part which rotates in the corresponding bearing 33, has a helical groove 34 by the lubricant is raised to the upper part and flows into the space 35 and then spreads along the extension <B> 27, </B> which, for this purpose, has ridges <B> 36,
</B> and collects in a channel 37 formed by the part 28 on which the lower end of the pulley 18 rests, the lubricant again passes inside the part 28 through the holes 38 made at the bottom - of the aforesaid channel .. In addition, in the upper part of the part 30 are formed holes 39 for circu lation -de air.
