Par cet arrangement, le curseur sert uni quement à dérouler le fil de la provision, le retordage s'opérant au delà. Ainsi, on sup prime le frottement qui se produit souvent dans les anciens dispositifs sur les parties du fil où seul un retordage partiel a lieu. Sur le dessin donné à titre d'exemple: La fig. 1 est une coupe verticale montrant la bobine et les parties adjacentes disposées selon l'invention: La fig. 2 montre à une plus grande échelle une partie supérieure de la fig. 1; La fia. 3 est une vue eorresponda.nt à celle clé la fig. 2, mais tournée d'un angle droit;
Device for twisting wires or cables. In machines for twisting threads or cables known to date, each spool placed at the front of the machine is lined with a certain number of separate strands of thread, arranged in the same direction, but not twisted. When these strands are unwound from each of said coils, they are twisted in a determined direction, so as to form what is called the first strand in the manufacture of wires or cables.
In general, the coil or the mass or the supply of wire rests on a boss of a spindle carrying it, this spindle itself being driven by means of tapes which connect a usual rotary cylinder, with a nut of the brooch. Around the coil or the mass or wire supply is also arranged a ring carrying the slider through which passes the wire from the supply considered. view of a subsequent twist. However, the aforementioned ring born was fixed until this day.
The device according to the present invention is characterized by a ring carrying a cur sor, in which pass the threads coming from the thread supply, and connected to a member surrounding the thread supply and rotating at the same time as a pin carrying the supply. sion of wire, an extension of this rotating member being provided with guides in which pass the son from the cursor and dE, the provision. The ring is therefore not fixed, since it can rotate at the same time as the mentioned spindle.
By this arrangement, the slider serves only to unwind the thread of the supply, the twisting taking place beyond. This eliminates the friction which often occurs in old devices on the parts of the yarn where only partial twisting takes place. In the drawing given by way of example: FIG. 1 is a vertical section showing the coil and the adjacent parts arranged according to the invention: FIG. 2 shows on a larger scale an upper part of FIG. 1; The fia. 3 is a view eorresponda.nt to that key in FIG. 2, but turned at a right angle;
Fig. 4 is a plan of the upper end of FIG. 2; Fig. 5 shows, on the same scale as the fi-. 2, 3 and 4, part of FIG. 1 in the cursor area; Fig. 6 is a plan of FIG. 1, and FIG. 7 a variant of the lower part of FIG. 1.
a is the coil, the wire placed above not having been drawn and b is a ring -about the upper part of said coil, which ring was fixed until now, but is -disposed so as to be able to turn around the spool a. c is the cursor placed on the ring b and capable of moving along the latter, under the influence of the traction of the wire indicated at d, this wire being not twisted and placed on the spool a, from where it runs through the -cursor in the direction of a higher point.
According to the present invention, the ring b can perform a rotational movement around the coil a .; for this purpose it is. fixed in the present example to a tubular member e connected to a base the perforated to allow the passage of the pin m. The spindle according to fig. 1 has in 7th a shoulder on which rests the base the which y is fixed so as to turn at the same time as the spindle. In this way, the ring b performs a rotational movement when the spindle turns. To the tubular member e is also fixed a cover o whose upper part r has a vertical central hole and side holes, guides.
The manner in which the threads pass around the guides or openings of the upper part r and in these guides or openings determines the degree of tension desired. Fig. 1 represents the wire d going from bottom to top to a guide rod pulley s, then to. two clamping rollers t.
When the tubular member e and the ring t) rotate with the spindle in, the twisting takes place between the upper part r of the cover o and the clamping rollers t or another point provided for this purpose. Below part r, the threads are not twisted. The cursor c. Is also free to move on the ring b according to the traction exerted on it and is simply used to unwind the wire from the spool .a. In this way, there is no longer a tendency to form a twist of the threads between the mass or supply of thread -and the cur sor as often happened with it. the fixed ring.
In the embodiment of FIG. 7, the tubular member e is fixed to a base 7a1 having a u. a pulley groove. In this way, one can communicate to the tube and to. the ring a movement of appropriate speed, this by means of an external mechanism in relation to the groove ii, using a horn not shown. In the latter case, the contact between the base W and the shoulder k will be effected simply by friction.
