Gegenstand    dieses Patentes ist ein Ver  fahren zur Darstellung eines     Küpenfarbstoffes,     welches dadurch gekennzeichnet ist, dass man  1. 4.5.8     -Naphtoylen    - 4'. 4"-     diamino    -     dibenzi-          midazolmitBenzoylehlorid    erwärmt, wobei die  zwei im Molekül vorhandenen     Aminogruppen          benzoyliert    werden.  



  <I>Beispiel:</I>  30 Gewichtsteile     1.4.5.8-Naphtoylen-          4'.4"-diamino-dibenzimidazol    (dargestellt durch  Kondensation von     1.4.5.8-Naphtalin-tetra-          carbonsäure    mit     4-Nitro-1.2-phenyleiidiamin     (gemäss der deutschen Patentschrift Nr. 430632)  und anschliessende Reduktion werden in 700  Raumteilen     Benzoylchlorid    8 Stunden zum  Sieden erhitzt. Das gebildete Produkt wird  nach dem Erkalten abgesaugt und mit Alko  hol gewaschen.
