Description
Verfahren zur Darstellung eines Nüpenfarbstoifes. Gegenstand dieses Zusatzpatentes ist ein Verfahren zur Darstellung eines Küpenfarb- stoffes, welches dadurch gekennzeichnet ist, dass man 1.4-Dinaphthoyl-5.8-dichlornaph- thalin mit einem stark alkalischen Konden sationsmittel behandelt.
Beispiel,; Erhitzt man 10 Gewichtsteile 1.4-Dinaph- thoyl-5.8-dichlornaphthalin (erhältlich durch Kondensation von 5.8-Dichlornaphthalin-1.4- dicarbonsäurechlorid mit 2 Mol Naphthalin, farblose Prismen aus gylol F. P.<B>2780)</B> mit 5 Gewichtsteilen Ätzkali in 40 Gewichtsteilen Chinolin zum Sieden, so zeigt sich nach kurzer Zeit eine schwerlösliche, kristallinische Ab scheidung.
Diese wird, sobald keine Zunahme mehr bemerkbar ist, abgesaugt und erst mit etwas Chinolin, dann mit Alkohol gewaschen. Mit Alkali-Hydrosulfit liefert dieses Konden sationsprodukt eine intensiv violettrote, rot fluoreszierende Küpe. Baumwolle wird aus dieser Küpe nach dem Verhängen an der Luft in kräftigen chlor- und seilechten Tönen violettbraun gefärbt. Die Lösungsfarbe des aus der Küpe ausogydierten Farbstoffes in konzentrierter Schwefelsäure ist blau. Der Farbstoff kristallisiert aus hochsiedenden Lö sungsmitteln in braunen Nadeln.
