Es wurde gefunden, dass man einen neuen       Küpenfarbstoff    erhält, wenn man das     5-Chlor-          6-methyl-3-oxytliionaphthen    mit dem     p-Di-          methylaminoanil    des     5-Chlor-7-methyl-3-oxy-          thionaphthens    kondensiert.  



  Der neue Farbstoff der Formel

    stellt ein     violettrotes    Pulver dar, das sich in  konzentrierter Schwefelsäure mit grüner Farbe  löst und Baumwolle aus gelbgefärbter     Küpe     in     kräftigen,        carmosinroten    Tönen von sehr  guten     Echtheiten    färbt.  



       Beispiel:     <B>198</B> Teile     5-Chlor-6-niethyl-3-oxythionaph-          then    und 330 Teile     p-Dimethylaminoanil    des       5-Chlor-7-methyl-3-oxythionaphthens    werden  in 4000 Teilen Alkohol suspendiert und zum  Sieden erhitzt. Nach kurzem Kochen ist die    Kondensation beendet. Man filtriert, wäscht  und trocknet.
