  Zusatzpatent zum Hauptpatent     Nr.   <B>113920.</B>    Verfahren zur Darstellung eines     Küpenfarbstoffes.       Gegenstand dieses Zusatzpatentes ist ein  Verfahren zur Darstellung eines     Küpenfarb,-          stoffes    aus     Monochlordibenzantliron,    das  durch Chlorieren von     Dibenzantliron    in bei  spielsweise     Clilorsulionsäure    bis zur     Mono-          chlorstufe    erhältlich ist,

   und     p-Toluidin.     Das Verfahren wird zum Beispiel folgender  massen     ausgeführt-          10    Teile chloriertes     Dibenzauthron    mit  einem Gehalt von<B>7,2</B>     '/o    Chlor werden mit  <B>80</B> Teilen     p-Toluidin    unter Zusatz von<B>8</B> Tei  len     ealeinierter    Soda<B>25</B> Stunden unter     Rüll-          ren    zum Sieden erhitzt. Zur Isolierung des  entstandenen neuen Farbstoffes kann man  nach dem Abkühlen auf etwa<B>80'</B> mit<B>Al-</B>  kohol verdünnen, absaugen, mit Alkohol und  Wasser waschen und trocknen.  



  Der in Pulverform     seliwarze    Farbstoff  ist in Alkalien und Säuren unlöslich. Die  Lösungsfarbe in konzentrierter Schwefel  säure ist -violett, in organischen Lösungs  mitteln violett bis blau mit braunroter    Fluoreszenz. Die     Hydrosulfitküpe    ist violett  mit braunroter Fluoreszenz. Auf Baumwolle  erhält man ein echtes Blau.

<B>PATENTANSPRUCH:</B> Verfahren zur Darstellung eines Küpen- farbstoffes, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man Monochlordibenzanthron, das durch Chlorieren von -Dibenzanthron -in beispiels weise Chlorsulfonsäure bis zur Monoclilor- stufe erhältlieli ist, mit p-Toluidin umsetzt.
