Description

  

  Verfahren zur Darstellung eines Chlor     Lind    Brom enthaltenden     Küpenfarbstoffes.       Im Hauptpatent ist ein Verfahren zur  Darstellung eines Chlor und Brom ent  haltenden     Küpenfarbstoffes    beschrieben, bei  dem 1     Mol        Isodibenzanthron    in Gegenwart  von     Chlorsulfonsäure    und von Katalysatoren  mit mindestens einem halben     Mol    eines     bro-          mfierenden        Mittels    behandelt wird.  



  Es wurde nun gefunden, dass man  einen Farbstoff von ähnlichen Eigenschaften  erhalten kann, wenn man 1     Mol        Di-          benzanthron    in Gegenwart von     Chlorsulfon-          säure,    Selen und Jod mit mindestens 1     Mol     eines bromfierenden Mittels behandelt.  



  Der erhaltene     Küpenfarbstoff,    ein     Di-          bromdichlordibenzanthron,    ist ein dunkel  blaues Pulver, löst sich in konzentrierter       Schwefelsäure    mit violetter Farbe und     liefert     auf Baumwolle aus     violettblauer        Küpe    klare,  kräftige, marineblaue Färbungen von hervor  ragenden Echtheitseigenschaften.  



  <I>Beispiel:</I>  46 Teile     Dibenzanthron    werden unter  Rühren in 460 Teilen     Chlorsulfonsäure    ge  löst und nach Zugabe von 1,4 Teilen Selen    und 1,5 Teilen Jod     mit    20 Teilen Brom ver  setzt. Darauf erwärmt man unter Rühren  auf 65 bis 70   C und hält bei dieser Tem  peratur so lange, bis die Hauptmenge des  Broms aufgenommen ist. Nach dem Erkalten  arbeitet man wie üblich auf.

  <I> Example: </I> 46 parts of dibenzanthrone are dissolved in 460 parts of chlorosulfonic acid with stirring and, after the addition of 1.4 parts of selenium and 1.5 parts of iodine, 20 parts of bromine are added.
