  Verfahren zur Darstellung eines Farbstoffes.    Gegenstand vorliegender Erfindung ist ein  Verfahren zur Darstellung eines Farbstoffes,  welches darin besteht, dass man     2.5-Di-(N-          methyl-        carbazolyl    - 3' -     amino)    - 3-     phenyl    -1. .     4-          benzochinon    in einem hochsiedenden Lösungs  mittel erhitzt.  



  <I>Beispiel:</I>  100 Gewichtsteile     2.5-Di-(N-methyl-carba-          zolyl-3'-amino)-3-phenyl-1.4-benzochinon    (er  hältlich durch Kondensation von     3-Amino-N-          methyl-carbazol    mit     Phenylbenzochinon)    wer  den in 1500 Gewichtsteilen Nitrobenzol etwa  10 Stunden zum Sieden erhitzt. Nach Erkalten  der     Reaktionsmasse    wird das ausgeschiedene  Produkt abgesaugt, mit     Nitrobenzol    und Alko  hol gewaschen und getrocknet. Auf geeignete  Weise umgelöst, erhält man einen blauen  Pigmentfarbstoff.  



       Sulfiert    man dieses Produkt, so erhält man  eine     Sulfosäure,    die pflanzliche und tierische  Faser in blauen Tönen anfärbt.

PATENTANSPRUCH: Verfahren zur Darstellung eines Farb stoffes, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man 2. 5- Di-(N- methyl - carbazolyl- 3'-amino)-3-phenyl- 1.4-benzochinon in einem hochsiedenden Lösungsmittel erhitzt. Der so erhaltene Stoff stellt, auf geeignete Weise umgelöst, einen blauen Pigmentfarb stoff dar. Sulfiert man dieses Produkt, so erhält man eine Sulfosäure, die pflanzliche und tierische Faser in blauen Tönen anfärbt.
