  Zusatzpatent zum Hauptpatent     Nr.   <B>169352.</B>    Verfahren zur Herstellung eines     schwarzfärbenden    Schwefelfarbstoffes.    Im Hauptpatent     Nr.   <B>169 352</B> ist ein Ver  fahren zur Herstellung eines schwarzfärben  den     Schwefelfarbstoffes    beschrieben, das da  durch gekennzeichnet ist,     dass    das     Leuko-          indophenol    aus     Carbazol    und     p-Nitrosophenol     in Gegenwart von     1-Acetylamino-4-amino-          benzol    bei Temperaturen, die oberhalb 200<B>0</B>  liegen, geschwefelt wird.  



  Es wurde     nun    gefunden,     dass    man in  vorteilhafter Weise zu demselben Farbstoff  gelangt, wenn man das     Indophenol    aus     Car-          bazol    und     p-Nitrosophenol    mit     1-Acetyl-          amino-4-aminobenzol    kondensiert und das so  erhaltene Kondensationsprodukt bei Tem  peraturen, die oberhalb 200<B>0</B> liegen, schwe  felt. Der so erhaltene Farbstoff bildet ein  dunkles Pulver, löst sich in Schwefelsäure  mit blaugrüner Farbe und färbt Baumwolle  aus     schwefelnatriumhaltigem    Bade in echten,  tiefschwarzen Tönen.  



  <I>Beispiel:</I>  <B>27,3</B> Teile     Carbazolindophenol    werden  mit<B>500</B> Teilen Wasser gut verrührt. Dazu    gibt man die Lösung von<B>15</B> Teilen     1-Amino-          4-aoetylaminobenzol    in<B>300</B> Teile Wasser  und säuert mit Essigsäure an.  



  Die Mischung wird unter Rühren auf<B>60 0</B>  erwärmt, wodurch innerhalb<B>2--3</B> Stunden  Kondensation stattfindet. Das Ende der Um  setzung ist daran zu erkennen,     dass    eine       Tupfprobe    mit Alkohol nicht mehr die vio  lette Lösung des Indophenols zeigt, sondern       dass    ein in Alkohol schwer löslicher,     rot-          'brauner    Körper entstanden ist.

   Sobald dieser  Punkt erreicht ist, wird filtriert, mit warmem  Wasser gewaschen und das feuchte Kon  densationsprodukt mit einem     Tetrasulfid    aus  <B>30</B> Teilen kristallisiertem Schwefelnatrium  und 12 Teilen Schwefel, sowie mit<B>18</B> Teilen  Schwefel und<B>10</B> Teilen Kochsalz innig ver  mischt     und    bei<B>80-85 0</B> im Vakuum ge  trocknet. Die trockene, pulverisierte Mischung  wird dann etwa 2 Stunden bei<B>230 0</B> ge  backen. Die feingemahlene Schmelze wird  mit<B>700</B> Teilen Wasser bei<B>80 0</B> verrührt,  mit verdünnter Säure neutralisiert und<B>fil-</B>           riert.    Der gut gewaschene Farbstoff wird  hierauf getrocknet.

  It has now been found that the same dye is advantageously obtained if the indophenol from carbazole and p-nitrosophenol is condensed with 1-acetylamino-4-aminobenzene and the condensation product obtained in this way is at temperatures above 200 <B> 0 </B> lie, sulphurous. The dye obtained in this way forms a dark powder, dissolves in sulfuric acid with a blue-green color and dyes cotton from a bath containing sodium sulphide in real, deep black shades.



  <I> Example: </I> <B> 27.3 </B> parts of carbazolindophenol are mixed well with <B> 500 </B> parts of water. The solution of 15 parts of 1-amino-4-aoetylaminobenzene in 300 parts of water is added and the mixture is acidified with acetic acid.



  The mixture is heated to <B> 60 0 </B> while stirring, whereby condensation takes place within <B> 2--3 </B> hours. The end of the implementation can be recognized by the fact that a swab sample with alcohol no longer shows the violet solution of the indophenol, but that a 'red-' brown body has arisen that is sparingly soluble in alcohol.

   As soon as this point is reached, it is filtered, washed with warm water and the moist condensation product with a tetrasulfide made of <B> 30 </B> parts of crystallized sodium sulfur and 12 parts of sulfur, as well as <B> 18 </B> parts of sulfur and <B> 10 </B> parts of table salt are intimately mixed and dried at <B> 80-85 0 </B> in a vacuum. The dry, powdered mixture is then baked at <B> 230 0 </B> for about 2 hours. The finely ground melt is mixed with <B> 700 </B> parts of water at <B> 80 ° </B>, neutralized with dilute acid and <B> fil- </B> ized. The well washed dye is then dried.

PATENTANSPRUCH: Verfahren zur Herstellung eines schwarz färbenden Schwefelfarbstoffes, dadurch ge kennzeichnet, dass das Indophenol aus Carb- azol und p-Nitrosophenol mit 1-Acetyl- amino-4-aminobenzol kondensiert wird, und dass das so erhaltene Kondensationsprodukt bei Temperaturen, die oberhalb 200<B>0</B> liegen, geschwefelt wird. Der so erhaltene Farb stoff bildet ein dunkles Pulver, löst sich in Schwefelsäure mit blaugrüner Farbe und färbt Baumwolle aus sohwefelnatriumhaltigem Bade in echten tiefschwarzen Tönen.
