  Verfahren zur Darstellung eines     Azophtaleinfarbstoffes.       Gegenstand dieser Erfindung ist ein Ver  fahren zur Darstellung eines     Azophtalein-          farbstoffes    von nachstehender Formel:

    welches dadurch gekennzeichnet ist, dass  man den     Monoazofarbstoff    aus der nitrierten  1, 2,     4-Diazonaphtolsäure    und     Resorcin    mit       Diäthylainido-in-oxybenzoylbenzoesäure    im  Verhältnis gleicher Moleküle kondensiert.  



  <I>Beispiel:</I>  36 Teile des     Farbstoffes        aas    der ni  trierten 1, 2,     4-Diazoriaphtolsulfosäure    und       Resorcin    werden mit 31,4 Teilen     Diäthyl-          amido    - m -     oxybenzoylbenzoesäure    vermischt  und eingetragen in 300 Teile konzentrierte  Schwefelsäure. Man rührt 8 Stunden bei 60<B>0</B>    und giesst hierauf in     Wasqer    i die Farbstoff  säure fällt vollständig ans. Sie bildet ge  trocknet ein bronzierendes Pulver, das in  Wasser auf Zusatz von     Alkalien    blaugrün,  in     könzentrierter    Schwefelsäure rot löslich  ist.

   Die     nachchromierten    oder     nachgekupfer-          ten    Färbungen auf Wolle und Seide des  nach bekannten Verfahren in das     Alkalisalz     übergeführten Farbstoffes sind grün und be  sitzen gute Echtheitseigenschaften.
