Description
Verfahren zur Darstellung eines Monoazofarbstoffes. Gegenstand des vorliegenden Patentes ist ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines neuen ehromierbaren Monoazofarbstoffes; es ist da durch gekennzeichnet, dass man dianotierte 4 Chlor-2-aminophenol-6-sulfonsäure mit 1-(7- Oxynaphthyl) -carbamidsäure-äthylglykolester vereinigt.
<I>Beispiel:</I> 22,4 Gewichtsteile 4-Chlor-2-aminophenol- 6-sulfonsäure werden dianotiert und mit 27,5 Gewichtsteilen 1-(7-Oxynaphthyl)-carbamid- säure-äthylglykolester, gelöst in 300 Teilen Wasser mit 4 Gewichtsteilen Natrium hydroxyd, in Gegenwart von überschüssiger Soda, gekuppelt. Der Farbstoff wird durch Aussalzen und Abfiltrieren gewonnen und stellt getrocknet ein dunkelviolettes Pulver dar, welches sich in konzentrierter Schwefel säure mit bläulichroter Farbe löst.
Der Farb stoff ist ein ausgezeichnet neutralziehender Einbadchromfarbstoff und gibt auf Wolle sehr gut wasch-, walk- und lichtechte Ausfär bungen von lebhaften blaugrauen Tönen.
Der als Kupplungskomponente verwen dete wasserfreie 1-(7-Oxynaphthyl)-carbamid- säure-äthylglykolester schmilzt bei 1020 und wird durch Umsetzung von Chlorameisen säure-äthylglykolester (Kp" """ : 67 bis<B>680</B> C ) mit 1,7-Aminonaphthol erhalten.
Zur Herstellung des Chromkomplexes wird eine wie oben erhaltene Farbstoffmenge in einer mit 75 Gewichtsteilen 10 7, iger Schwe felsäure versetzten Lösung von 75 Gewichts- teilen Chromalaun in 1600 Teilen Wasser suspendiert und 24 Stunden am Rückfluss- kühler zum Sieden erhitzt. Nach dem Erkal ten wird der in gut kristallisierter Form aus geschiedene Chromkomplex abfiltriert. Trok- ken stellt er ein dunkelviolettes Pulver dar, welches sich in konzentrierter Schwefelsäure mit bläuliehroter Farbe löst.
Die schwefel sauren Ausfärbungen des neuen Chromkom plexes sind blau, von ausgezeichneter Wasch- und Walkechtheit und guter Lichtechtheit.
Process for the preparation of a monoazo dye. The present patent is a process for the preparation of a new honorable monoazo dye; it is characterized in that dianotated 4-chloro-2-aminophenol-6-sulfonic acid is combined with ethyl glycol 1- (7-oxynaphthyl) carbamic acid.
<I> Example: </I> 22.4 parts by weight of 4-chloro-2-aminophenol-6-sulfonic acid are dianotized and mixed with 27.5 parts by weight of 1- (7-oxynaphthyl) carbamic acid ethylglycol ester, dissolved in 300 parts Water with 4 parts by weight of sodium hydroxide, in the presence of excess soda, coupled. The dye is obtained by salting out and filtering off and, when dried, is a dark purple powder which dissolves in concentrated sulfuric acid with a bluish red color.
The dye is an excellent, neutral-drawing, single-bath chrome dye and gives very good wash-, mill- and light-fast dyeing of lively blue-gray tones to wool.
The anhydrous 1- (7-oxynaphthyl) -carbamidic acid ethylglycol ester used as the coupling component melts at 1020 and is converted into ethylglycol ester by reacting chloroformic acid (bp "" "": 67 to 680 C) obtained with 1,7-aminonaphthol.
To prepare the chromium complex, an amount of dye obtained as above is suspended in a solution of 75 parts by weight of chromium alum in 1600 parts of water to which 75 parts by weight of 10 7 strength sulfuric acid have been added, and the mixture is heated to boiling for 24 hours on a reflux condenser. After cooling, the chromium complex, which has separated out in well-crystallized form, is filtered off. When dry it is a dark purple powder which dissolves in concentrated sulfuric acid with a bluish red color.
The acidic sulfuric coloring of the new chromium complex is blue, has excellent wash and milled fastness and good light fastness.
